There is a book by J.R. Church " Guardians of the Grail", that might help. As I remember it goes into some history and things. It is available at www.prophecyinthenews.com

The holy grail is just a drinking cup from 2000 years ago. It was probably just made out of clay and was broken and discarded long ago.

Jesus Christ and his apostles weren't hunting relics back then and did not save the cup.

Perhaps you could try some Swedenborgian resources

What difference does it make what kind of cup Jesus drank from? Isn't it more important what was in the cup represented?

God Bless You
