Will they be made differently than Adam? If there is something different about them that will mean that they won't fall into sin, doesn't that mean that God made Adam faulty? If they are no different than Adam, it must be that the environment will be different. But, Adam didn't make his environment. So, all God would have to do would be to put the Christians under the same sort of test of obedience as Adam was and they would eventually fall again. I don't see how God would somehow be satisfied with his creatures if the only thing keeping them from being bad again is the absence of temptation.

In his latest "President's Corner," Bob Jones University head Bob Jones III says the word fundamentalist has become co-opted. "Bob Jones University is unashamedly Fundamentalist, but the term is beginning to carry an onerous connotation with the world at large because of the media's penchant for lumping Christian Fundamentalists in the same heap as Islamic Fundamentalists," he writes.

"Instead of Fundamentalism defining us as steadfast Bible believers, the term now carries overtones of radicalism and terrorism. Fundamentalist evokes fear, suspicion, and other repulsive connotations in its current usage. Many of us who are separated unto Christ feel it is appropriate to find a new label that will define us more positively and appropriately. It is too early in the process to know what term may ultimately be embraced by the majority, but I like Preservationist."

How can you mention the name "Jesus Christ" when you are living 600 years before he was even born?

The old testament never mentions "Jesus" by name. How do you explain it?

Isn't this proof that Book of Mormon is just a false as the Bible?

Apparently I am an Anti-Mormon and have been encouraged to start a fan club for all the Mormon cronies out there.

What is it that makes someone "Anti-Mormon"?

A Day with Allah is as a thousand years of what ye reckon.

70:4
Unto Him in a Day whereof the span is fifty thousand years.

So either Allah's day lasts 1000 years or 50,000 years. Which is it? Do you believe one and not the other? How do you reconcile all the contradictions in your Quran?

9:30: The Jews call 'Uzair a son of Allah, and the Christians call Christ the son of Allah. That is a saying from their mouth; (in this) they but imitate what the unbelievers of old used to say. Allah.s curse be on them: how they are deluded away from the Truth!

I know who Christ is, but no clue on Uzair and can't find it anywhere? Is He Moses (I thought he was Musa)?

Everyone has something and everyone has struggles and my husband and I have had our fair share of things to deal with, but I find my self being angry and resentful and hostile at people in our family and people we know that are successful and living a good life and have not had to climb the mountains we have had a lot of struggling to get where we are today.

The more I grow in the Lord the more I realize this world is not my home heaven in and I fully understand that not everyone get thier treasures on earth but some treasures are stored up in heaven.

Knowing this has took a lot of the sting and pain out of the obstacles my steadfast and I are facing.

My question is is it human nature to feel this way even thought I love God? What are ways to come to terms with this and go forward in my relationship with the Lord?

How many of you have found this to be true (or not)? And if its not a problem, could you give me examples?

I'm thinking about starting an online store - and somedays I'm all giddy and excited - and other days I think "what am I thinking?"

I guess I could use some insight from other folks here - help me out if you have the time.

Thanks a bunch

So all these plates were supposedly written in ancient america, and somehow there are word for word quotes from the King James version of the bible.

Are you gonna tell me Joseph Smith was lazy and just used his bible when he was 'translating' these plates? If so then why didn't God help him translate those parts becuase you say God helped Joseph Smith translate. You believe the book of mormon is perfect, and you say the bible has translation errors. Well, those translation errors got copied right into the Book of Mormon by Joseph Smith. So why didn't God stop him and tell him the right words?

How much more proof do you need that the BOM is fiction?

They’d have to. I mean they believe in ancient Jewish civilizations in America, Native Americans who are actually a tribe of Israelites all with a complete lack of anything even remotely resembling evidence or proof. And their prophet read his prophecy from out of a hat! Evolution is quite tame compared to all these other beliefs.

Ecclesiastes 1:4 "...the earth abideth forever"

2 Peter 3:10 "the elements shall melt with a fervent heat, the earth also, and works that are therein shall be burned up."

What's this then?

If God is perfect, his purpose must always be fulfilled. Why would he create us in an imperfect manner, where (even if its our free-will to chose our behavior) we will so often sin and then just go to Hell, which is eternal torture and apartness from God. That does not seem to make sense.

If we go to Hell, it would seem that God is defeated because his purpose is not fulfill. How could God be defeated? Hell does not make sense.

10 - You vigorously deny the existence of thousands of gods claimed by other religions, but feel outraged when someone denies the existence of yours.

9 - You feel insulted and "dehumanized" when scientists say that people evolved from other life forms, but you have no problem with the Biblical claim that we were created from dirt.

8 - You laugh at polytheists, but you have no problem believing in a Triune God.

7 - Your face turns purple when you hear of the "atrocities" attributed to Allah, but you don't even flinch when hearing about how God/Jehovah slaughtered all the babies of Egypt in "Exodus" and ordered the elimination of entire ethnic groups in "Joshua" including women, children, and trees!

6 - You laugh at Hindu beliefs that deify humans, and Greek claims about gods sleeping with women, but you have no problem believing that the Holy Spirit impregnated Mary, who then gave birth to a man-god who got killed, came back to life and then ascended into the sky.

5 - You are willing to spend your life looking for little loopholes in the scientifically established age of Earth (few billion years), but you find nothing wrong with believing dates recorded by Bronze Age tribesmen sitting in their tents and guessing that Earth is a few generations old.

4 - You believe that the entire population of this planet with the exception of those who share your beliefs -- though excluding those in all rival sects - will spend Eternity in an infinite Hell of Suffering. And yet consider your religion the most "tolerant" and "loving."

3 - While modern science, history, geology, biology, and physics have failed to convince you otherwise, some idiot rolling around on the floor speaking in "tongues" may be all the evidence you need to "prove" Christianity.

2 - You define 0.01% as a "high success rate" when it comes to answered prayers. You consider that to be evidence that prayer works. And you think that the remaining 99.99% FAILURE was simply the will of God.

1 - You actually know a lot less than many atheists and agnostics do about the Bible, Christianity, and church history - but still call yourself a Christian.

New international version as well as most of the new versions delete as much as 40 WHOLE verses. Not to mention the many words and phrases that were completely deleted from the NIV--it deletes over 64,000 words

Here is the list of the whole verses deleted in newer versions of the bible:
