22:47
A Day with Allah is as a thousand years of what ye reckon.
70:4
Unto Him in a Day whereof the span is fifty thousand years.
So either Allah's day lasts 1000 years or 50,000 years. Which is it? Do you believe one and not the other? How do you reconcile all the contradictions in your Quran?

I know the bible is full of contradictions too. I am atheist, however I didn't want Christians to think I was only attacking them. All religions are wrong.

THe complete verse of 70:4 is
"The angels and the Rûh [Jibrael (Gabriel)] ascend to Him in a Day the measure whereof is fifty thousand years,"
In accordance to Einstein's Theory of relativity the faster an object travels the slower it passes through time. Therefore if an object travels close enough to the speed of light for one day from the object's perspective, it is very possible that 50,000 years would have passed on earth.

70:4 the angels and ruh ascend to him in a day the measure whereof is 50,000 years.
22:47 And they ask you not to hasten on the torment.and Allah fails not his promise. And verily, a day with your Lord is as a thousand years of what you reckon.
This is not talking about how long a day last. This is why you should learn before you talk and not listen to what others have to say to try and slander Islam. Maybe you can not understand what it is your reading.

The very concept of 'time' is meaningless in relation to God. Who is 'timeless' and infinite or eternal. Time with Him is nothing. We keep out of time by our relative calculations. His existance is absolute and not conditioned by time or place. Hence a thousand year or fifty thousand years are alike before Him. What we call a thousand years may be nothing more than a minute or secons before Him. But the time in the verses tells of duration for differant people. The unbelievers will think that day to be as long as fifty thousand years. We know how long a day will be when one is tortured in a prision. Though it is 24hours a day, we all have differant duration as imaginary related to our easiniess and hardships.

First off Allahs days can be whatever Allah wants, Period
There are contradictions in every religion, I know you're trying not to persecute only the Christians, but you should've made you're question broader.
Why do Athiests ask questions, when they will never accept the answer?
Hey, how exactly is a rainbow made?
How exactly does the sun set?
How exactly does the posi-trac rear end on a Plymouth work?
It just do. It just do.

It is stated in the Quran: "one day with Allah is as 1000 years of yours."
And:
"In a day equal to 50000 year, angels shall gather before him!"
The day of gathering in our religion is "Dooms Day".. Then 1000 Is the Normal day, 50000 is dooms day... (Interpretation of Abu Hanifa, Ibn Hazm, Shafi'i, Nawawy, Dr. Abdulla Shehata).
Have a nice DAY!

They can't they just bury their head in the sand. I've heard this obvious contradiction before. Muslims try to claim the meaning has been changed-that it actually means "periods of time". But thats just stupid because it contradicts their belief that Allah will promise to keep the Quran unchanged, so either way it disproves islam. Islam is just ridiculous.

Allah use word Yaum in Quran. It is arabic word which means period of time.
A period of time can be of a thousand year.
A period of time can be 50,000 years.

Same way Christians explain all the biblical contradictions: they ignore them or make excuses or detour around them.
Faith is not subject to reason.
