my church youth and i are going on a youth confrence, and my youth paster said to think up a question that will stump him and other youth paster's so heres mine but if you have a better one please reply

When God destroys the heavens and the earth to create the new heavens and earth will there be time? And if there is will we be like God who can go look back and forth thru time?

What is a nice way to tell your friend that you dont want to be friends with them anymore, because they're shoving their religion down your throat? I mean, shes nice and a great b.f, but because we have a difference in religion(she's christian, im nothing) she keeps on pushing me and pushing me to join hers.

Where did the "Mormons and their 'magic underwear' " rumor start, and why do people believe it??? It's just a bunch of bogus. I mean, the people that go to the Temple wear garments to remind them of the covenats they have made with the Lord, but they aren't "magical." I mean, you act like you are looking for any stupid reason, no matter how impossible it is, to hate us.
You say that God didn't talk to Joseph Smith, or he doesn't reveal things to our Prophets today, or that the Book of Mormon isn't true, yet you believe that we have magical underwear.......as well as the other things you say about us.....please tell me how that makes logical sense, because I am very logical and it sure doesn't make sense to me.....

EVERYTIME i come on here people are blasting GOD but why? if you dont like the THOUGHT of having a GOD over you then why cant you keep it to yourself! I believe in GOD cause i've been through enough to know i should. MAYBE you should count your blessings or just SHUT UP!

What I mean is: how would you make yourself attracted to the same sex?

I've heard from several people in this section that homosexuality is a choice, so I'm wondering how those people might "make that choice". What would you do? How would you get yourself to be sexually interested in men (if you're a guy) or women (if you're a gal)?

Would you practice kissing an apple and imagine it's someone of the same sex? Would you stare at "sexy" pictures of a same sex movie star? Would you ask a gay/lesbian friend to teach you to be gay or lesbian? Would you do something different? Or do you already have the potential to be attracted to members of the same sex?

And if you're thinking to yourself "I refuse to even think about it, I'd never do that!!", this question isn't for you. This is a hypothetical question for those who are capable of dealing with hypothetical questions. If you CANNOT deal with hypothetical questions, then I ask you to REFRAIN FROM RESPONDING.

When people who believe in God sit and think and ponder for a really long time about their belief in God, does it seem as though you only believe b/c you fear Hell? Or fear your life will go astray if you dont believe? Or do you only believe because you feel slightly pressured by other people saying you SHOULD believe? Or do you only believe because you were raised to believe and you never really thought about it any other way? Or do you believe just because the majority of the people surrounding you believe and you feel you must join in in fear of persecution from those people?
Or do you REALLY REALLY believe in your heart of hearts after thinking about it for a really really long time that there is actually a "spiritual being" that is controlling you, your life and your after life. Even with so much scientific evidence that points towards a more definite reasoning for certain things.

1. With all the information being just one click away... don't u think that on the day of judgment we wouldn't be able to stand in front of God and make up the excuse of "I didn't know", "No one told me", "They taught me different", etc.

2. Also... don't u think that we have it much harder than the ones before us?

My wife who is Lutheran and I, who am Catholic, went to a Catholic service. She chewed gum throughout and said it was no big deal. I was apalled and couldn't beleieve any religion would find it respectful.

I want to get saved but where i live there is not one Church but there is Sunday school and i think i am going to go to that, I would like to know how can i get saved in the privacy of my own home and have Jesus come into my heart, I have felt it before and it was amazing like a big weight was lifted off my shoulders i want to feel that again how should i do it.
