Revelation 14: suggest to us that Jesus will make his first stop of the Rapture in the mountains of Israel to take the 144,000 who are being protected by God during the Tribulation. Jesus does not set foot on the Mount of Olives or any other part of the earth during His first return visit. The sole purpose of His first trip will be to remove all of those who belong to Him from the earth so that sinners may be punished.
2007 Rapture - Shocking Evidence for the Timing of the Christian 'Rapture' found in Revelation 14 ........
The 'Pre-Tribulation' rapture represents God taking some of his people from the Earth before the Great Tribulation; these are Christians in HIGH STANDING with God who do not have to suffer through his judgements of wrath that come on the world.
Thoughts?

Dixie Bible Belt, with a plastic Jesus on the dash board and a "I Love Jesus" sign on the road to nowhere in particular. Snake-handling, foot-washing, the home of Jerry Falwell, Pat Robertson, Jimmy Swaggart, Billy Graham, Jim Bakker, and dozens of con-men televangelists. The Ten Commandments in the courthouse square, the Mecca of wacko rightwing Republicans, the home of the Ku Klux Klan, the headquarters of Christian fundamentalism. There's more but I got to go feed my cat.

Does the word "Chrism" directly relate to the name of Christ?
"The Chrismed One" = "The Anointed One"

Some primitive tribes used to "Chrism" the victims of their human sacrifices before burning them at stake, so that they would burn better.

Shakespeare said: "As flies to wantom boys, so are we to the gods".
