Did you know that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is the only true church on the face of the earth? Might as well accept it while you can. Are you brave enough to check it out?

I have often wondered about this. I was raised a Nazarene and was taught that speaking in tongues no longer existed and those that do are not speaking in tongues in the biblical sense.

Through studying the bible, all I can find is that there will be a time when "all theses things(tongues, prophecy, etc) will cease". Who says that it has already ceased? Maybe it will cease when Jesus returns.
The gift of tongues, as I understand it is from the Holy Spirit. If the Holy Spirit exist, shouldn't the gifts one receives exist also?

I have been told that the God, Christ and the Holy Spirt are one in body, but my question is if that is true, how come Christ (John 3: 16) is the only Begotten Son of God? How can He be His own Father?

People mistake ALLAH as a different god than the one of jews and christians. ALLAH is just the arabic word for god. as is THEOS in greek. YAWEH in hebrew. ALLAH is the god of Abraham (peace be on him). so it is the same god in all 3 monotheistic religions.

The prohpet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said that the biggest jihad someone encounters is against their own soul. The word Jihad got misinterpreted by the media and crusaders when jerusalem was the muslim "jihad=struggle" not "killing all non-muslims".

If your idea of god is true, why didn't anybody believe in him until about 2000 bc? Hinduism was around about 2000 years before Judaism even existed, and humans were around for about 190,000 years before Hinduism even existed...

I was driving home today and just as i got in my car and pulled out of the garage, i stop at a red light and 2 yellow cars caught my attention stopped side by side, then right in front of them a lady in a yellow top the same shade walked by. it felt really weird to me, like it means something, so its been on my mind. then i drove another block, and a lady pulls up in a car next to mine and low and behold shes wearing a yellow top (and no its not the same lady). and then another guy walked down with yellow on. ive never paid that much attention to what colors ect, but for some reason this yellow in this 2 minute time frame really caught my attention and made my intuition jump up, so i wanna know what it means? then the rest of my drive home, no more yellow. very strange, i got the feeling it means something so id like to know, thanks!

As concerns grow that terrorists might attack a major American city with a nuclear bomb, a high-level group of government and military officials has been quietly preparing an emergency survival program that would include the building of bomb shelters, steps to prevent panicked evacuations and the possible suspension of some civil liberties.

Many experts say the likelihood of al Qaeda or some other terrorist group producing a working nuclear weapon with illicitly obtained weapons-grade fuel is not large, but such a strike would be far more lethal, frightening and disruptive than the attacks of Sept. 11, 2001. Not only could the numbers killed and wounded be far higher, but the explosion could, experts say, ignite widespread fires, shut down most transportation, halt much economic activity and cause a possible disintegration of government order

For example, they will tend to believe that the notion of God is only there because people need an explanation, and for no other reason. Or they will say that it is only the creation of religions that were used to maintain populations under control. The point here is that they tend to explain the fact that many people believe in God by an opposite belief that rejects God. They have a hard time to remain neutral. One simple explanation for all these religions and the knowledge that they teach is simply that God exists and has manifested Himself on earth. The other explanations are not easier to believe. Why would they be better?

Now, before someone say rapture is not in the Bible. Let me say "I know this" It's for this reason I dont use the word rapture.

What I use is the glorious appearing of Jesus.

Because this is Biblical , and it is in the catching up, calling up, or snatching out.

The word rapture I used to identify the event and the question to be put forth.

Now we know that according to 1 Thessaloians 4:17, that the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and the "trump" of God....

In regards to this, in 1 Corinthians 15:51- 52 we read; Behold, I show you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,

In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at "the last trump" for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.

The scriptures says; at the last trump.... How many blast of the trumpet are there, before the last one is sounded?
