That Catholics *are* Christians and we don't worship Mary, place the Pope above God, or think that good works will buy our way into Heaven. We do read the Bible, and we believe that Jesus is the Way, the Truth, and the Life and no man comes to the Father except through Him. I see variations on all these things posted here regularly by those who either don't know better or who prefer to believe a lie than listen to the truth.

It's a toss up between that or telling people that a little tolerance for beliefs other than your own will earn you a whole lot of respect and appreciation in this forum.

That there is a big gap between proving a God exists (which has not been achieved) and merely CLAIMING he exists because roses or sunsets or grinning babies exist.

That's improper reasoning, and shows your mind is closed to the proper scientific alternative explanations for why those things have come into being. Is God your fall-back position for flunking science? Oh, yeah, most of you have flunked science and math. The grade in which you stopped taking science and math courses, that's when you flunked. You can't at all pretend science is some "unimportant" option to discard at will, not in OUR world, buck-o. You might think you "opted" for business or sculpture or something else, but that point represented your abdication from hard work, from actually training your brain to THINK logically. You may even have ended up in a field where emotional manipulation is more important than truth (politics or religion). Too bad for you; you are only valid to ONE illogical faction or another and not relevant to all humanity as science is.

I do try ( when the conversation crops up )
to educate people to the differences between...
spirit , ghosts , possessions , poltergeist etc
and which of these are actually conscious energies
spirit is the only one which is conscious

ghosts are residual energy
possession cases are usually misdiagnosed illness or self induced ( all be it subconsciously and not aware )
and poltergeist is usually human energy and generally with females between ages of 13-18 due to hormones and excess energy levels

I forgot about
not every psychic is a medium , but every medium is a psychic

That asking rude questions gets rude answers, and asking questions politely gets better answers.

If anyone gets a lot of rude answers they may want to have another look at how they phrased their question before deciding it's their beliefs that are being 'persecuted'. And since this is a public forum, be sure to make some allowances for people who failed anger management.

That it is not all right to force your views or beliefs on another person.

That it is not all right to thumb down or report an OPINION.

That the world, marriage, morality, and certain overrun holidays existed before, and so it will after.

That there is no such thing as a devil or satan, and thus there are no "satan worshipers" so far as many have defined them as being.

Random knowledge. Hey you never know when you might get chosen to be on Jeopardy, and that might be a question!

I would like to learn from others about other faiths and beliefs, while at the same time learning more about my religion through others with the same belief. I also try to express myself to others in hopes to try and educate them about my religion.
