Saying something is a substitute usually means that the two things are interchangeable. Is Christ interchangeable with homosexuality? That doesn't make much sense to me.

Huh? Do you mean faith in the cross as a substitute for a homosexual lifestyle?

What if I like girls sexually, and am also in love with the God of the Bible?

Yikes, what an assertion...sex doesn't equal love. Period.

No, Christ is always a good substitute for anything that goes against the Bible, such as Homosexuality. Its wrong and gays need Christ.

Yeah it is. I've never heard of it put that way. But I suppose what they mean is that instead of living your life trying to find a new gay guy to hook up with, you transfer your passion and effort to serving God and helping people and just abstaining from sex while still being yourself.

Not really, except that Christ is not a person, but a concept. Jesus is the person who christians believe was the christ.

I have never heard that. It is an odd outlook. That would imply that everyone who loves Jesus is secretly gay.
Nope. It's a crock.
