A truly saved person is going to have Satan battling against them everyday. When you are salt and light of the world, people can see your testimony and witness for Christ, and Satan will do anything in his power to destroy that. The last thing he wants is for someone to be lead to Christ, and when people see or hear of your testimony....that could very well happen.

Be glad that you are being battled, that is one assurance that you ARE a child of God.

Also remember that God gives you an escape route.
1 Corinthians 10:13 There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above what ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape it, that ye may be able to bear it.

Read 2 Peter 1:5-10 and Ephesians 6:13-20. These passages are very inspirational and can help you greatly. But most and foremost PRAY, the power of prayer hasn't weakened or gone to the wayside. Ask God for strength and be filled with the spirit. That is the ONLY hope a Christian has in this world today.

We serve an AWESOME God!!!!

Accually the fact that the battles seem so harsh is because of your time spent in the word of God. just by reading and taking time to focus on God you will decrease satan's ability to come at you with things because you Decrease your relationship distance from God him self. Dont Fret Friend just read your bible daily and i dont mean just a chapter i mean sit down and read like you would a novel. I suggest start with the book of john and ask God to open your eyes and give you understanding. definately try it after three days you will notice a differance

We get harrassed all the time. He an opportunist that likes the attention. The devil knows Christians are no longer under his dominion and also that Jesus has dominion over him and his imps.

In the Name of Jesus, they tremble. With the first drop of blood, Jesus allowed us to share in His victory at Calvary. But we must choose Him to be redeemed from the bondage of sin, from the devil, and from this world. With that distraction out of the way, we are clear to respond to the calling God has intended for each of us. And some of us mature to that calling at different rates. The devil is just on the sidelines, like a parasitic heckling fan from the other team. The final score: 1-0 Jesus on top!

The battle is never ending, it seems! Yes, the closer I get to God, the more Satan tries to derail me! When I am writing Christian plays and producing them, that is when I am the most under attack!! That, and also when I teach the Word of God, I tend to get bombarded by satanic attacks!

Even so, God is faithful and I lean on His understanding for such attacks! In doing so, He supplies the strength and fills my heart with joy in the midst of these attacks!

My wife and I have battled the satan on and off for our entire married life. I can not but belief that God has a higher calling for the 2 of us. We have been tested on everyone of our vows and I mean all of them We have been married 21 years and the devil continues to play games with us on and off. recently he has attacked using my wife's illness to attack our finances.Instead of asking God to stop him and to give me strenght I thank him everyday for the strenght that he has given me and for the trials and the tribulations that we experience daily
I praise God for the love that he has given me for my wife
and for the love that he has given my wife for me.
I work very hard to consecrate on the love that he has blessed me with it is a love that is unbelievable
Even after 21 years I look forward to the times that I get to spend with my wife when I am home from the needs of my Country as a military member
God allows us to be tested so that we can be stronger in his love. with out that testing we can not grow and we would be weak in our Gods love
Remember always praise the heavenly Father in both the good time and especially the rough time it takes away the devils power

I do believe that if you are going to be a soul winner, that you are more on Satan's radar. If you are lost or a useless pew sitter, he doesn't pay you as much attention. If it seems he's really out to get you you're probably headed in the right direction. God bless!!

wow, you got some great answers, and yes we have all had our battles, and still do, but the good news is that God only allows that to come against those He feels strong enough to withstand them.
and Satan only attacks those that He fears.

Yes! In reality its a daily battle some days worse than others. However, I have had some serious battles in the past with Satan himself. Of which some will laugh and make jokes over. But, that's OK. I know what happened, when a friend of mine cross over into activity, that was serious in the spiritual kingdom of darkness, that involved animal sacrifices, as well as grave discretion, and black mass.

However, our spiritual battles does show us that we are in the service of the Lord, and taking a stand against the powers and forces of the spiritual kingdom of Satan.

You know the Apostle Paul says in Ephesians that we are at war not against flesh and blood. But against principalities and powers. That word "power" in the original means "active" physical and mental strength.

With this being not a physical battle one of flesh and blood, it shows a mental battle, where Satan and his minions, are those "on a most part" their physchological abilities of manipulation of the mind. As it was with Peter, when Jesus called him Satan, saying to Peter; "Get thee behind me, Satan" Now we know that Jesus wasnt calling Peter Satan. But he was addressing the one who possessed the physchological abilites to manipulate, the thought or thinking process of humanity. In this case it was Peter.

Another verse that shows us Satans physchological abilities is 2 Corinthians 4:3-4 we Paul says; But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost:

In whom the god of this world (Satan) hath blinded the "minds" of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.

Another is 2 Corinthians 11:3 Paul writes; But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtlety, so your "minds" should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ.

Here we see that Satan blinds and corrupts the mind.

And it is only understandable, that with Paul being a major author of the New Testament Books. That Satan would launch an attack against Paul saying he was evil and corrupt.

Apparently you need to get more acquainted with Jesus He's the alpha & the omega the first & the last that means that He has already won & He has given us the victory,& placed satan under our feet. Next time he reminds you of your past you remind him of his future,& you attach him with sword of spirit which is the word of God, just as Jesus did. Fear not for I am with thee say's the Lord. So go on soldier of the cross. Amen!
