No, absolutely not. However, do not assume that He will reveal Himself "this way" or "that way". God speaks in a still small voice, so you need to be listening. It may be that He will send someone to comfort you just when you need it, and when you least expect it. Also, as Jesus has stated in the passage below, the Father is revealed via His Son, and to have a relationship with God, come through the Son. Read this to understand how...

Of course it's not wrong. I think all people of faith have had those times where they wished for a sign from God, or a voice, or a clear direction. Open yourself up to the idea that God is always present, and can touch your life in unexpected ways. I have experienced feelings of desolation in difficult times, and it's usually not till we look back that we have an aha moment of recognizing God's touch.

Its not wrong at all as a matter of fact some of us rely on it. I think its ok when you forget your connection to God or feel lost into the chaos of the world.

If you are ready to accept that God IS, and ask Him to reveal Himself to you, that is the way to get to know Him. It's a great idea, and you'd be suprized at what might happen.
Be blessed! =)

No, not at all. God will reveal Himself to you, if you ask and use your intellect.

God exists, and He loves honest questions from those who seek Him.

God reveals Itself to sincere seekers ... yet not necessarily in the way one might expect. Be sincere, seek earnestly, and be ready for what comes next.

Nothing wrong with that. People throughout history have done so and their lives have been changed for the better. God will honor that prayer.

if God bring his angels and showed himself then it's over.

[210] Do they then wait for anything other than that Allâh should come to them in the shadows of the clouds and the angels? (Then) the case would be already judged. And to Allâh return all matters (for decision).
