Unlike other religions, Christianity claims that there is no such thing as second-class human beings of any kind.
There is God and there are humans, and there is a direct relationship between God and each human.
Furthermore, since every human is less than perfect and some have strengths where others are weak, there will always be a variety of skill sets and abilities. In areas that I am not competent, I am happy to rely on those who are, and I try to assist others in areas in which I am competent.
The only things that interfere with this social system are: 1 - The Pride of those who won't admit their weaknesses, and 2 - the wolves that take advantage of other peoples weakness.
Please note, this concept applies in all areas of life, not just christianity.

Only "second-class Christians" would use labels like "second-class Christians"--or "up-to-snuff Christians", for that matter. How is it their place to judge other Christians? I thought that was God's job...

Some are and some aren't.
We are all in different learning stages.
One christian maybe dealing with alcoholism.
Another one maybe dealing with stress.
We each have our different vices in life which interfere with our socialization skills.
The point is we are still growing in the Lord.
You see, the difference between atheism and Christianity is God is not done with us yet.
Everyday he is refining us, teaching right from wrong.
Just like a potter who takes his time crafting his lifeless form into a work of art.
Remember when you said you will never get over your scars.
Well, atheism in a way, states our morality is fully developed, so therefore there is no need to exercise your humanity.
So, you feel like the scars will never go away.
In Christianity, we are taught that God heals everything and refines our morality.
You seem alright, but alot of other atheists reinforce our belief that Christianity is right and atheism is wrong.
Example, go on you tube and count how many atheists don't curse in their videos.
I only found one out of many.
Every time I see a atheist curse, belittle a christian, or so vehemently attack prayer in school, this reinforces my belief in Christ.
What are the fruits of evilness:
Arrogance, pride, anger, jealousy, sarcasm, and on.
I see many of these things in atheism.
It reminds me of fundamentalist Christianity in reverse.
God Bless

Yes, I must confess. I am not up to snuff. I don't believe in Satan, I don't believe in the "rapture." I don't believe the Bible is inerrant, I don't take it literally. I also don't have one of those neat decorated Bible covers. I don't close my eyes when I sing and I have never told anyone they're going to hell, (except my brother once). So I guess I'm pretty much a Christian flunky-not up to snuff at all...

I'm sure all the real Christians are praying, or doing charity work, not playing on the computer, or using snuff.

Hmm... do people who ask if Christians here on R&S, second-class Christians, not up-to-snuff Christians have too much time on their hands, or lack of maturity?

What is an up to snuff Christian exactly?

There is no "second-class" Christian. It's against Biblical teaching to suggest anyone is less than someone else.
