my church youth and i are going on a youth confrence, and my youth paster said to think up a question that will stump him and other youth paster's so heres mine but if you have a better one please reply

When God destroys the heavens and the earth to create the new heavens and earth will there be time? And if there is will we be like God who can go look back and forth thru time?

How about: If Herod killed all the little children under two to get at Jesus, who escaped, can we not say the little children had to die for Jesus before he died for them? and Why didn't Mary warn the other parents?

Try this one on him, if you have the guts. Ask him to explain how Noah managed to keep Pandas and Koalas fed during their stay on the Ark? Both Pandas and Koalas eat very specific diets. Pandas eat only Bamboo; as a matter of fact they will not eat the same variety of Bamboo all the time but must be fed different varieties frequently to survive. Zoo that are lucky enough to have Pandas have a hard time keeping them fed. They must raise different strains of Bamboo to keep their Pandas healthy. This process takes an inordinate amount of time, and requires a great deal of land for growth of the Bamboo. Koalas eat only Eucalyptus leafs. Both animals will only eat fresh leafs, so you have to harvest them daily. Where on the Ark were the Bamboo and Eucalyptus groves? In addition ask him to explain how Noah managed to acquire Koalas, since they exist only in Australia? And by the way, the stock answer to questions like these is, “God can do anything”. Well he probably can, but why would he? You might add a question about “The Legend of Gilgamesh” which is an ancient Babylonian tale that tells of a great flood and a great ship filled with animals. It also predates the Old Testament and the Hebrews by thousands of years. Why is it that people have such a hard time distinguishing fables and old wives tales from reality? Oh, one more thing. Ask about the mental condition of a god that murders every human on the planet except one small family, because he is having a bad hair day. I think maybe this god needs a time out.

The problem with that is now they’re just using it like a lucky rabbit’s foot. Hmmm……



Back into battle. They got their collective butts kicked. 30,000 men died. Not only that but the Philistines took the Ark. Dang.

Chapter 5 – God messes with the priests of Dagon….


Here we go. Verse 6. But the hand of the LORD was heavy upon them of Ashdod, and he destroyed them, and smote them with emerods, [even] Ashdod and the coasts thereof.


Emerods are tumors. Everywhere they took the Ark. Tumors. To Ashdod. To Gath. To Ekron. Tumors.


Verse 9: And it was [so], that, after they had carried it about, the hand of the LORD was against the city with a very great destruction: and he smote the men of the city, both small and great, and they had emerods in their secret parts.

There will be no time beyond the white throne judgment, because God does live in eternity. That is an easy question. Why did God create evil is a better question; Isaiah 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.
Why did Jesus Christ go preach in hell for only 1/4 of friday, Saturday, and 1/4 of Sunday and yet the we are told 3 days. John 2:19 Jesus answered and said unto them, Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up.

Why do people believe Jesus Christ was more like Mickey Mouse than King David or Samson who was known for killing thousands of the enemy. Let me give you a few refences to prove the point. John 2:15 And when he had made a scourge of small cords, he drove them all out of the temple, and the sheep, and the oxen; and poured out the changers' money, and overthrew the tables;
If I came into your church building and did this how would you feel.
Luke 12:51 Suppose ye that I am come to give peace on earth? I tell you, Nay; but rather division:
Now here we have our peace loving Jesus Christ telling us plainly he came to cause division in the families.
John 7:43 So there was a division among the people because of him.
John 9:16 Therefore said some of the Pharisees, This man is not of God, because he keepeth not the sabbath day. Others said, How can a man that is a sinner do such miracles? And there was a division among them.
Now here is another question, in the building of the Ark by Noah how many of each creature entered the Ark and why.
The answer seems simple enough but many people miss it,
Seven of every clean beast and a pair of all the unclean beast, and the reason was clean animals have a harder time living than unclean ones and Noah killed one of all the clean ones as soon as he got out of the boat.
Here is another good one --- How did the rock following the children of Israel give Moses water and was this the original rolling stone; Exodus 17:6 Behold, I will stand before thee there upon the rock in Horeb; and thou shalt smite the rock, and there shall come water out of it, that the people may drink. And Moses did so in the sight of the elders of Israel.

Why would Moses not get into the promise land because he thought it was unreasonble to talk to a rock?
Numbers 20:10 And Moses and Aaron gathered the congregation together before the rock, and he said unto them, Hear now, ye rebels; must we fetch you water out of this rock?
Not too many people realize that rock was Christ:1 Corinthians 10:4 And did all drink the same spiritual drink: for they drank of that spiritual Rock that followed them: and that Rock was Christ.
If the Bible says Cain was of the wicked one and yet many religions believe Cain to be the son of Adam, who is the son of God, how can Cain be evil unless he is a child of the Devil; 1 John 3:12 Not as Cain, who was of that wicked one, and slew his brother. And wherefore slew he him? Because his own works were evil, and his brother's righteous.
He told the second lie and his father told the first through the serpent; Genesis 3:4 And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die:

Those are two I've never been able to answer...if your youth PASTOR can answer either of them, I would sure be interested.

Can the all powerful god make a rock so heavy that he can't lift it.

Why would an all knowing god make and angel that would defy him, and people who would sin when given free will?

If god knows everything, how can free will exist, and wouldn't he have know every person who would be going to hell before he made man?

How did Noah get polar bears?

An eye for an eye or turn the other cheek?

If god is all knowing, why would he make a world that would require him to send his son down to be sacrificed for it?

Why does the bible say that the earth doesn't move?

I could go on and on.

The linear concept of time as we understand it really doesn't exist outside our conceptualization. There is truth behind that idea that God exists outside of time. The fact that we grow up and age, that things either develop or wear away, or that the earth revolves around the sun a certain number of times is the result of cause and effect and we percieve time in this as time. There really is no past and future rather they are only memories, speculations, or ideas.
