1. With all the information being just one click away... don't u think that on the day of judgment we wouldn't be able to stand in front of God and make up the excuse of "I didn't know", "No one told me", "They taught me different", etc.

2. Also... don't u think that we have it much harder than the ones before us?

3. Last but not least... plz state ur religion...

Yes, we are responsible for much good and also for much bad. I really feel sorry for the really young people because I don't think they stand much of a chance the way the media is with sex in the city and all kinds of garbage shows on tv and in the movies and the music for the most part is horrible. I am a Catholic

Hypothetically - which is what this is:

1) No - I think you have every excuse, and deserve sympathy. The information's just a click away, but WHAT information? The Internet has made it possible for lunatics who would never have been allowed to publish their nonsense in earlier times, reach a world-wide audience. It's never been easier to be fooled and lied to than today.

2) Er - harder how? I'm very glad I didn't have to grow up in the overly protected and restricted environment I see around me. But I could have used some of the mod cons. What in particular do you feel is harder for you?

3) You'll have to guess. Shouldn't be difficult.

1) No we don't have any excuses because even if we weren't in this age where we have everything a click away, a true Muslim would be on the quest for knowledge in Islam in any era.

2) We do, because as the ages change, people's perspective on religion and on Islam is changing and it's us the youth who have to show people what true Muslims are and what Islam is really all about by being the best example as we can. Also besides for religion, Just in order to succeed in life we need a PhD to make a decent salary where as before someone with just a college degree was sufficient.

3) I am a Proud Muslima Alhamdullilah

and if I could give more then one star I would give one for the question and one because I like you he he ... But I'm giving one for both.

Asalmu-Alaikum wa rehmatullah

No. I believe our children today have far less responsibility. I am of the opinion we have lost sight of the words like "honor, responsibility, manners, mormals and decency", not to mention self-respect. Whom to blame? Hmm....maybe the parents whom allow the actions of our children, and even other adults for that matter.

1. Yes! Back to the parents. For example: don't buy them a calculator, force them to do it the old fashion way.

2. Yes, and no. It's harder to correct the path we have now embarked. It's always harder to "repair" than to do it the right way the first time. Harder? No. We have made it harder on ourselves.

3. I am not religious.

1. Yes, and no. I think those of us privileged enough to have access to the internet may be more responsible, but there are still a lot of people who don't know. Not to mention lots of oppressive governments.

2. In some ways, yes, some ways no.

3. Theist.

Good question. Well! I can only speak for myself, to begin with we all are sinners, no one is perfect and can say, that he/she didn't sin.
On the day of the judgment, I have no excuse whatsoever, when I think of that, I see my head hanging down, with guilt and shame, taking the responsibility.
Yes! By all means, we have much harder life, then the ones before, by all means and by all respect.

I'm pretty sure my grandad's generation had it tougher, what with the World War and everything. I'm not sure worrying about whether or not to believe in some silly myth counts as having a big responsibility.

i don't see any point being made. Aawreness creates heightened respnsibility/ How so? It doesn't result in heightened power,so what difference does it make? So I can't say "I didn't know." And? I know about the war in Iraq. And? That empowers me to stop it? I wish. To answer the question: no.

No religion. Information is useless unless it progressively pursues the truth . No Gods without proof.
