Here is another interesting tidbit. Did you know that according to 1 Chronicles 21:17 and 2 Samuel 24:13, God killed 70,000 men, (Including women and children, probably over 200,000) over a incorrect Census made by David, because David numbered the Levites.

Can't you just feel the love?

Well Christians, why would God kill all those people over one sinful census? What happened to forgiveness?

Christians say that if you except God and let him in your heart, he will make himself known to you. Here's my question. Many hardcore Christians have left the church and became atheists. If these people at one time accepted God and let God in their hearts and God made himself known to these people, why would they convert to atheism. If God makes himself known to you, then there should be no question in your mind that he exists. Could it be that maybe he really never has made himself known to anyone and that everyone is just pretending in an attempt to fit in with everyone else? I think they should change the phrase on money that states "In God We Trust" to "In God We HOPE."

It obviously began with Peter and is said to end with a man that will call himself "Benadictine". That's Benedict translated. The list ends, as previously stated, with the 16th Benedict and so far the list has been 100% correct. Coincidence, end of the Catholic Church, or the end of times? Give me your thoughts.

Romans 1:24-27 Therefore God, in keeping with the desires of their hearts, gave them up to uncleanness, that their bodies might be dishonored among them, 25 even those who exchanged the truth of God for the lie and venerated and rendered sacred service to the creation rather than the One who created, who is blessed forever. Amen. 26 That is why God gave them up to disgraceful sexual appetites, for both their females changed the natural use of themselves into one contrary to nature; 27 and likewise even the males left the natural use of the female and became violently inflamed in their lust toward one another, males with males, working what is obscene and receiving in themselves the full recompense, which was due for their error.

A lawyer parked his brand-new Lexus in front of his office building, eager to show it off to his co-workers. Just as he got out, a truck sideswiped his car, tearing off the driver's side door. The lawyer frantically dialed 911, and within minutes, a policeman arrived. "My Lexus," the lawyer screamed at the policeman.
"You lawyers disgust me. You're so materialistic. Good grief, man, don't you realize your arm is missing? The truck must have ripped it off in the collision!"

"My Rolex!" screamed the lawyer.

So, i used to be Catholic, but now i am just a follower of Jesus. I do not believe in God, however I feel that Jesus' teachings are good. So i still go to mass.
Anyway, religon is the most contradicting thing ever. We are told not to kill and turn the other cheek, but we are allowed to murder other people in war and they will go to heaven. and heaven, only humans can go there. We have been on this planet for a few thousand years, why are we the only life forms to have the privilage of an afterlife. The pope says to give to the poor etc, and he wears Gucci and Versace and flys around in private jets and helicopters. The Bible is only backed by the Bible. There is no other docuemnts supporting to Bible.

We believe in a religon created by people that thought that the earth was in the middle of the universe, that putting some hay and food together would spawn animals. Can you really believe in such a stupid idea. (for lack of better word)

I have heard some say it was, they say the Ships and merchants stand for wealth and trade of that time, to update it would be like saying Wall street now. verse 17 says in 1 hour
Just wondering what you think,
15The merchants of these things, which were made rich by her, shall stand afar off for the fear of her torment, weeping and wailing,
16And saying, Alas, alas that great city, that was clothed in fine linen, and purple, and scarlet, and decked with gold, and precious stones, and pearls!
17For in one hour so great riches is come to nought. And every shipmaster, and all the company in ships, and sailors, and as many as trade by sea, stood afar off,
18And cried when they saw the smoke of her burning, saying, What city is like unto this great city!
19And they cast dust on their heads, and cried, weeping and wailing, saying, Alas, alas that great city, wherein were made rich all that had ships in the sea by reason of her costliness! for in one hour is she made desolate.

I'm not sure what it says word for word, but I do know it says we should dress like our own gender. Is it a sin for a woman to wear blue jeans? There wass nothing about it in the New Testiment, so I was wondering if the law changed or not

You can be guilty of all kinds of sins, and yet experience the joy of forgiveness. You can have this joy when:

1. Quit denying your guilt and recognise that you have sinned.
2. Admit your guilt to God and ask for His forgiveness
3. Let go of your guilt and believe that God has forgiven you.

God's Word declares that sin confessed are sins forgiven.
(1 John 1 v 9).

Then! Cientificamente you cannot deny true the historical one of this philosophy: Beyond the Universe the life also is infinite in the Land, and all the species also the man have certainly ancestral origin, where the pursuing of the life (for the future) results in an arrival to the past of Daily pay-History; e that finishes in return to the gift of Our Historia.

I circulate that our alternating History of Daily pay-History is happened again infinitely.

Have you ever seen a miracle happen?

I am not talking about watching a baby being born, or a fantastic sunset, or even a great coincidence that prevented a disater. Those are all wonderous and beautiful things, but I am talking about an event in which things beyond human control occurred. Something that cannot be explained by science, but only can be understood in faith terms.

Ever seen something like that happen?

Ecclesiasticus
Chapter 38 >
1 Honour the physician for the need thou hast of him: for the most High hath created him. 2 For all healing is from God, and he shall receive gifts of the king. 3 The skill of the physician shall lift up his head, and in the sight of great men he shall be praised. 4 The most High hath created medicines out of the earth, and a wise man will not abhor them. 5 Was not bitter water made sweet with wood?

Personally I see no conflict and believe if it had been included in the other versions we would not have seen so many labeled as witch but as healer.

Is Satan himself suffering in the place where he resides? I think its a fair question, given the fact that he made a choice to go against God, and that he appears to preside over a place where unsaved sould will be suffering. Also, Hell is described as a place of suffering and pain. So you would think this is what any being there will be going through.

And... is there any chance for Satan to be redeemed and forgiven?

Please, only answer if you are religiously savvy enough to know that angels and man are two different orders of creation, according to Christianity.

How can an angel rebel against God? Humans are special because they were given free will - but how can Satan rebel? Can another angel rebel? If so, how would we know?

And do most people realize that the fall of Lucifer is majorly from Paradise, and not completely Biblical as we think of it?

My wife and I are new converts to the Latter Day Saints and we have found that many things are heavily regulated. Frankly I find underwear a creation of the Puritans to keep people in check.

The reason I ask is because my wife, Ashley, like Paris Hilton and Brittany Spears prefers to go all natur-al underneath whilst I am not ashamed to wear a sting bikini or thong or if just going to the grocery under my sweats...all natur-al.

When you visit our condo here in Vegas you have check your inhibitions at the door and if you don't like that you simply don't visit our condo. It makes sense because it gets hot here and if you feel you need to let it all hang out why not let your hair down and celebrate the openness you enjoy? After all haven't you earned it sitting in a hot office all day?

The Church doesn't look down on you doing this do they?

I'm an atheist, but I'd like to know what led others to walk away from their faith. For me it was asking a lot of questions, I just had a lot of things happen to me, and I realized that there was no god there for me and that all of us are alone. Anyway, I'd just like to know what made other people walk away.

I'm just curious as to people reactions to first hearing this statement.
Here's the statement: Be strong in the Lord and the power of His might. Put on the whole armor of God so that you can fight against the wiles of the devil.
Points will be given to well thought-out analyses. :)
