Have you ever seen a miracle happen?

I am not talking about watching a baby being born, or a fantastic sunset, or even a great coincidence that prevented a disater. Those are all wonderous and beautiful things, but I am talking about an event in which things beyond human control occurred. Something that cannot be explained by science, but only can be understood in faith terms.

Ever seen something like that happen?

The burning bush/fiery whirlwind kind of miracle doesn't really happen. Never has and never will, at least not outside of e-mails Christians send to one another. But the newborn babe's first smile/watching your grandchildren play in the creek kind of miracle is wonderful enough and in great abundance. It is far more moving because it's real.

Yes I have seen many miracles. One of which is my little sister. When she was a baby, she was sitting in her high chair which was next to the kitchen counter where my mom had just made a pot of coffee. The coffee was extrememly hot and my sister grabbed a hold of the electrical cord and pulled and the hot coffee spilled all over her. God protected her. She did not have one single burn, blister or mark on her body.

No such thing exists. Chances are there is nothing that logic could not explain eventually, and even if there is it could not then be understood through faith because faith DOES NOT lead to understanding. You cannot 'explain' anything through faith, you can only 'believe' it. 'Understanding' something based on faith is just as preposterous in the same way as 'understanding' that you will win the lottery.
