actually the NT does say something about it- "if you love me , you will obey my commandments"
For the most part I wear dresses and skirts, I am more comfortable in them but I do wear jeans also. I think that there are just some things you cannot do in a dress or skirt- or at the very least it is not wise to do in a dress or skirt.
I think getting down to the heart of the law (which is what Jesus taught) what are you motives and what is going on when you are wearing jeans. I see some women wear jeans with very feminine tops and shoes- there is no way you could mistake them for a man- they sit, walk and act like ladies even in jeans. On the other hand, I see some women wearing jeans, sitting with their legs open, walking like a man and completely not caring about how they present themselves. I do not think that you can judge by the peice of apparel (well, in some cases you can- especially in the case of men wearing women's clothing) but by how it is carried.
Think about the reason for the law- God created man to be men and women to be women- each has a role and responsibility and each are made for each other- God never intended for gender confusion or anything like that. Women are to look and act and be recognisable as women, no mater what they wear, though what they wear and how they behave while wearing it can cause confusion- if one is causing confusion then they should examine their heart and motives and be more discerning and picky about how they dress. The same goes for men.

The woman shall not wear that which pertaineth unto a man, neither shall a man put on womans garments.for all that do so are abomination unto the LORD thy GOD. (Deu.22.5)
This does not say that a woman can't wear pants, it says things pertaining to gender. It is clearly addressing the problem of one sex pretending to be the other.
Also all abominations of the Old Testament are also abominations of the New Testament. Jesus didn't come to change the law but to fulfill. There is a big difference between sin and abomination. All sin can be forgiven, but abominations are beyond the level of evil GOD is willing to put up with.

The Law did not change and still stands, but we need to look a bit deeper to find the wisdom hidden in the truth.
People in those days wore clothes that looked similar for woman and for men. Today we get the same thing, woman’s clothes look similar to men’s clothes but there is a deeper truth and wisdom we must learn from this. The moral issue is that men want to be woman and woman wants to be men.
You have to accept the person God made you to be and accept your body as a gift from Him, embracing it with thanksgiving. God does not like murmuring people who have demands on what they think are better for them. I know woman that rather would be men and vice versa, and this is the sin, not the physical clothing!
The extreme result of this sin is homosexuality where these people live out what they want to be and not what God planned them to be. Who is in control here? Are they serving Him with this rebellious attitude?
Wear your jeans, as long as you embrace your womanhood and who God made you to be.

It's this verse: Deuteronomy 22:5
"The woman shall not wear that which pertained unto a man, neither shall a man put on a woman’s garment: for all that do so are abomination unto the Lord thy God."
But we are not under the Old Testament Laws, we are under grace. Anything that carried over from those laws, are re-mentioned in the New Testament, for an example, those who will not inherit the kingdom of God, like liars, thiefs... and so on. Clothing laws are not mentioned.

ok we are no longer under that law. sure some of them we are. I am not telling you to throw out the 10 Comandments. but yeah there is nothing wrong with a woman wearing Jeans. There are some ppl that will say that but they are wrong.

Get a grip, girl. The reason jeans is not mentioned in the bible is because there werent any.
God will approve if you act in a dignified manner, no matter what youre wearing

My great grandmother who never went to school, but yes to church said that women well dress like men, and there will be great confusion. She predicted this, and how did she know this on a farm? God blessed her with this gift, and so it is now true.
Look at girls anywhere today wearing biker boots, jeans, mens shirts, more than ever before even girls who go to high school or younger are dressing like boys and there is no longer femininity or distinction. Just look at a group of today's girls and boys.

Jeans are unisex and can be worn by either sex. The New Testament DOESN'T negate the Old Testament. The Old Testament collectively is known as the LAW.
