But our early man has a moment to reflect and he thinks to himself, "Well, this is an interesting world that I find myself in," and then he asks himself a very treacherous question, a question that is totally meaningless and fallacious, but only comes about because of the nature of the sort of person he is, the sort of person he has evolved into, and the sort of person who has thrived because he thinks this particular way. Man the maker looks at his world and says, "So who made this, then?" Who made this?--you can see why it's a treachersous question. Early man thinks, "Well, because there's onle one sort of being I know about who makes things, whoever made this must therefore be a much bigger, much more powerful and neccessarily invisible, one of me, and because I tend to be the strong one who does all the stuff, he's probably male."

these are a few scriptures that I have found that are so different than other Bibles..( I can't say all because I have compared a lot but not all )..Your bible that you use has such different meanings to the scripritures the way it was translated..These changes are important ones..Wouldn't Jehovah make sure that the bibles that are in most homes be the right one..not with such drastic differences. Its no wonder you believe what you do..Your bibles have a different translation to these scriptures. Do you know who translated your Bible and if they were qualified to do so? I don't think most JW's know ..but its so easy to research it and find out..maybe they should take the time to do so. Should and are you putting more trust in man than in God.?Exodus 3:13 compared with John 8:58..... (Both God and Jesus say I AM, but JWs bible has Jesus saying I have been.)

Colossians 1:15-17.....(JWs bible inserted the word "other" 4 times so that Jesus is now the creator of all "other" things and before all "other" things ect.)

Hebrews 1:6....( Changed "worship" to 'obsienence') also did it in Matthew 2:2,11 14:33 28:9

Hebrews 1:8...( should say "But to the Son He says: "Your throne, O God, is forever and ever;) the JWs says "But in reference to the Son...)

Acts 20:28...(speaking of the church that GOD PURCHASE WITH HIS OWN BLOOD), JWs say with the blood of HIS OWN SON)

Luke 23:43....( Changed comma in Jesus speaking about paradise)

Titus 2:1......( Great God and Savior ,Jesus Christ changed to Great God AND OF THE savior Jesus Christ)

John 17:21....(Changed Jesus saying.."as You, Father, are in Me and I in You" to "Are in UNION with me"

Acts 10:36...(Jesus changed to Lord of 'All others' they also did it in Romans 8:32, and Philippeans 2:9. and Collosians 1:16-17)

Romans 9:5....( Changed.."according to the flesh, Christ came , who is over all, the eternally blessed God." to "according to the flesh: GOD WHO IS OVER ALL)

John 10:38...( changed Jesus's words that He is in the Father and the Father in Him, to 'in union with '.)

We can thank God by making the most of our lives in a practical sense and helping others to do the same, so why do people pray? If people pray for the safe return of Madeleine McCann but the unthinkable happens and she is not returned safe, what does this mean for the prayers that were said?

I'm sure this must have been asked but I am really curious ... If you were faced with absolute proof that there was no God, no afterlife and everything was just a myth would you change anything about your life? Would you reject the current values you are living or would you continue following those values?

Many people are religious yet understand that the world wasnt created 6000 years ago. How do they come to terms with the direct contradiction to what the bible is telling them? How do they accept a blatent lie from the bible yet go on believing all that other garbage?

There is probably a priest out there who has done nothing but good all his life, and ended up being murdered. Hmm.. Take Jesus as an example. The man did nothing but good all his life, and then he was crucified. Is that good Karma? Martin Luther King Jr was a great man who preached to help free african americans from being opressed and ofcourse he was assasinated. You could come up with many examples. All of the great people are killed or scorned upon, it's only after their dead that we realize they were great. I think that goes to show that Karma might not be true.

What comes to mind? What color? Does this in anyway reflect your mood or spiritual state of mind today? Silly perhaps but it is interesting. I pictured a beautiful Peace Rose, pink and yellow.

Do the values of Islam conflict with the values of western democracy, equal rights and private property rights, and if so, should Muslims be permitted to immigrate to western countries? If not, can Muslims accept western institutions at all?
