I was just wondering if you guys enjoyed church today. I did!!!!!

Shul (synagogue) was yesterday on the REAL shabbat (Sabbath)..

Unfortunately Finland does not have any English speaking churches where I live. So I did not go to church this morning. I wish there was one. I sure do miss going to church, although I did listen to a service over the internet.

I had a good morning, yes, but not in church. I was up early, to work on my new play, and then, after a shower and a slow, careful shave, my walking cane and I walked to Starbucks, five blocks away, and read The New York Times whilst sipping on coffee and nibbling a blueberry muffin. Two people came up to speak--I'm an actor and this happens. And then I bought a vegetarian sandwich for lunch...Starbucks sells everything now...and I walked back to my tiny flat where I read a chapter of Martin Cruz Smith's "Polar Star" and listened to a bit of Mozart and cleaned up my kitchen and then, feeling really good, I went back to my play, which is much ado about an elderly married couple, one deaf, the other one blind. I'm a merry atheist, and no mistake.

Oh yes, I mostly do have good Sundays in the Makers Church which is in the woods or along a stream. Church turns me off totally when it is in a building so that one person has you as a reluctant audience with a hand held out for a heaping collection plate.

I enjoyed it very much. The sermon was on God's blessing. The worship time was very wonderful; it was all around a good morning!

I always love church....although, sumtyms, I'd rather lay in bed & sleep in, but, once I get there.....my whole perspective changes..I especially loved worship this morning..it was really great....thanx 4 caring!!!

I went to church yesterday. Can't relate to Sunday keeping anymore.
The sermon was good.

Yes! I enjoyed myself, tho it wasn't long enough.
I enjoyed a wonderful sunrise and the birds were out. I also got to watch my puppy playing on the lawn and that's always fun.

I would have enjoyed it more if I hadn't been so sleepy and if they nursery hadn't called me to check on my kid! Other than that, it was great.
