Do you think that all evil should be destroyed? If so, what does this mean? I already have an opinion which I will state in a detail 25 hours from now. I just want to see where this one goes :).

I am waiting because I do not want my opinion to influence the spread of responses at all. I just wanted to see what everyone will say. The 25 hours is not a time limit. I am just going to wait that long until I voice my own opinion so that I can get as many different unique voices to chime in as possible :). This is not a test, just a discussion. Thanks :)!

The problem is that evil comes from what is good. To destroy evil, you would have to destroy good.

God created something good in us, called a free will. As a byproduct of that free will, we may make decisions that hurt others. The result of that decision is evil. To stop evil, you must destroy what is good, that is, our free will.

God instead chooses to overcome evil. When Jesus returns, He will separate the evil from the just and put each in their own place. The evil will never again oppress the just, and by God's power, the just will receive power to be the good they wanted to be, and sin will be no more.

Now you see evil = devil. Devil = death. Now you know that death has already been con cured by Jesus when He died on the cross and was resurrected after 3 days. Revelations already told us that evil (Satan) will be destroyed, so nothing new about that. What is your opinion and why wait to tell us. God Bless

You can't destroy evil. You can't destroy good either. They aren't substances or characteristics of anything. They are just judgements made by people.

The only way you could "destroy evil" is to destroy our ability to think and reason. Then there would be nothing judged evil.

Good and evil aren't tangible things that you can destroy. They're nothing but subjective human labels to describe behavior.

Without evil, there can be no good. They are relative to each other, and necessary for each other's existence, in balance and equilibrium.

My! You must think it's a terribly important opinion that you've even timed it for us!

Define "evil" so that we can all be on the same page.

Evil's pretty relative. One mans "freedom fighter" is another mans "terrorist."
