Or is it that you pray to Jehovah (God) through Jesus Christ's name? I'm just curious to see which one you guys pray to as there are some who pray to Jesus and some who pray to Jehovah God and some who pray to God through Jesus's name. So which is the correct way of praying if you don't mind me asking you?

The Prophet Muhammad said,"No babe is born but upon Fitra (as a Muslim). It is his parents who make him a Jew or a Christian or a Polytheist." (Sahih Muslim, Book 033, Number 6426)

You were all born believing in the One Supreme God, creator of the heavens and earth. Yes, even you atheists!

i don't personally have anything against prayer, i think that it can be very therapeutic to sit there and tell god how you feel about things and just kinda seek his spiritual guideance.

but what i have a problem is when people talk about asking god for specific things in prayer.
Many talk about the "power of prayer"
How many times have a christian told another, "well, have you prayed and prayed about it"?
my point is that god knows what you want and he definetly knows what you need, so why do some christians insist that god will do certain specific things if we constantly, habitually pray about many, many times?

in my book club...they have this special right now that is like buy 4 and get two. What a horrible deal. Why would I buy four at a time? lol. Well...I suppose if I had more money, it would be OK.

But what's the last item you got for free? Through promotion or whatever.

I think I got conditioner free when I bought dove shampoo.

i realized that born again Chritians were usuallu on the wrong path [jail and drugs and so on] and then decded to find God. dont get me wrong i'm not saying all of them but most of them. for example this guy was trying to convert me and he kept on preaching and i asked him "look i'm not trying to disrespect you in anyway but i have a question, were you in jail, or were an alcoholic or did drugs?", he responded yes to all 3! like most of them had had some "demons " in their past and suddenly want God? like they found God in jail??? did you guys notice that?? or am i the only one?? reminder this is not meant to insult you in anyway.

You believe that God controls the weather (eg. noah's flood etc.). My question is why do you think God struck the actor playing Jesus with lightning during filming?

I understand that they cannot read the bible freely because they are not allowed to have the Holy spirit give them a revelation unless approved by New York.

I also understand they cannot go into another church building because with the truth they might get contaminated.

I understand they cannot associate with anyone outside of their religion.

I also understand they are not allow to have a mind of their own. They do not have free will.

wasn't he just a complete failure?

Peter and his cohorts, who supposedly actually knew Jesus, made no real impact. It was Paul who invented Christianity, and it was the Gentile Church which invented the Gospels.

Considering how many mistakes are present in the Gospels, the writers obviously weren't Jewish and had never been to Jerusalem before it was destroyed. And they were written long after Paul died.

How can you settle for a hand me down religion, twice removed from Jesus and three times removed from Judaism, and still claim it as the real deal?

Okay-Not to sound off the rocker with this question, but on the CNN debate last night only Guliani was hit with audio problems
by lightning speaking on his view of Abortion, no one else was singled out.
Even Jim Cazviel while making the Passion of the Christ was on the cross and was hit directly by lightning people viewed smoke coming from his ears, yet he was fine..

This moning they say Guliani is pondering what really happened while he was speaking on abortion yet Lightning prevented him from saying everything he wanted to.

Thoughts?

where some people suffer greatly and live in extreme poverty and die harsh deaths etc and others bask in the sun with millions of dollars and riches, where rapists attack children and yet we dramatize it to watch on TV, ..etc

Matthew 15:26-27
"But he answered and said, It is not meet to take the children's bread, and to cast it to dogs. And she said, Truth, Lord: yet the dogs eat of the crumbs which fall from their masters' table."

So you non-jew descendant christian, Jesus said you are dogs....

I'm a hebrew descendant (ex-)christian, my grandpa was a Rabbi, so I'm His child while you are dogs hahahaha

I am a teenage girl of an unspecified age. I don't wanna say, because I get passed off as too young and too stupid. Mmkay?

I personally refuse to stand for the pledge, first because I think it's really stupid to memorize words and recite them to a piece of cloth that does /not/ give a damn, and I dislike pledging anything to a god I don't believe in.

A lot of Christians I've met support it, but couldn't it be considered in vain, when you consider reciting it to a special piece of cloth?

What are your own, personal feelings?
