Although they called Him Lord, they didn't have faith.

Jesus Calms the Storm
23 Then he got into the boat and his disciples followed him. 24 Suddenly a furious storm came up on the lake, so that the waves swept over the boat. But Jesus was sleeping. 25 The disciples went and woke him, saying, "Lord, save us! We're going to drown!"

26 He replied, "You of little faith, why are you so afraid?" Then he got up and rebuked the winds and the waves, and it was completely calm.

27 The men were amazed and asked, "What kind of man is this? Even the winds and the waves obey him!"

After the Resurrection is when they truly believed Jesus.

Good question. They could only think in human terms. They panicked & woke Jesus "Master, we are going to die. Don' U care?" Jesus spoke to the storm"Peace! Be still!" The disciples said"What kind of Man is this, that even the wind & waves obey Him?". I don't think that they had then full y realised Who He was. Hope this helps.

Having faith does not mean that you need to take action to prevent something bad from happening. I could drive on the wrong side of the road, and have all of the faith in the world that I will not get it by an on coming car, but odd are I need to act . . .

They had a very bad memory. There were many times in the Bible that they just forgot about Jesus' diety.

Because, like us, they were human beings...and even sometimes "seeing is believing" is not enough for many of us.
