If someone is an atheist they should, i would think, not care what others think about religion. Instead we see many atheists arguing with religious people. Is this because they are insecure in their belief, or lack of? And how can they say that Christians are not sincere when they have not experienced what Christians have, the transforming power of Christ. If you ask any true believer they have no doubt.

Almost all of the Christ story--virgin birth, ressurection after three days, son of god/is god, communion, etc--is found in other religions, be it the story of Krishna, Horus, Osiris, Dionysious, Mithra, etc. Doesn't it make sense that Christianity evolved from these earlier traditions? You could say that the devil planted those stories ahead of time to fake prohpecy (which was the early church explanation). But you have to believe that inspite of evidence, not because of it. Or that the will of god is written on the heart of men, so it is natural to presume that the christ story will pop up in different cultures using different wording. But how do you explain the religions of the Incas and Aztecs which are based on animism? Don't the atheists have the best and simplest explanation by looking at religion comparatively and seeing how they all relate to one another and evolve from each other?

i am probably considered a athiast(i think thats what its called) because I dont have a religion, although my parents are christian, but there are times that i question what every church does to people, because if you think about it, the pastor or w/e brainwashes you into not sinning or doing bad things, but there is no way that anyone can "not" sin. no one is perfect, no is like the flanders of the simpsons. i just dont get why people take there religion seriously. to tell you the truth, i think we came from aliens or something, not adam and eve, because if that was true, (if they had kids and ther kids had kids....) we would all be retarded.

Which person do you assume to be more secure about his/her beliefs?

1. A person that can quote every detail of his/her particular holy book, speaks in words of Truth, knows he/she is right and hardly can imagine somebody believing something else.

I asked a question earlier, about what exactly humans evolved from, and they game me bogus answers of how we are primtive creatures, and our only related to monkeys or apes, but we did not decend from them. Doesnt that prove that we evolved from humans? Oh wait a minute we are humans! And before you go off ranting, please understand this from my perspective. My therapist has told me about a new book that was discovered
called the Gospel of Michael. It is older than the books in the bible. It says:
1)Jesus was married
2)Mary was not a virgin but in fact was pretty promiscuous

You had watched on TV to witness.

A lot of believer blamed "FREEWILL" and didn't claimed their God's responsibility.

However, some one had saved miraclely then , God SAVED him/her/building.

How about so many helpless childrean, adult, and animals.

Isnt religion supposed to be about being kind and helping people? In a lot of ways, disliking someone for not being religious is like being racist. Is there a good explanation for this?
