Maybe i shouldn't asked this question cause people think i'm critisizing (if that's how it's spelled) their belifs and i'm not and yes i should've used the word "faith" instead of "proof". but most of the people who answer this question make me feel like i don't respect their way of thinking or expect them to belive what i do, so i can't wait to close this question to i can stop the missunderstandings!!

I do not know. How else could you explain us being here?
You almost have to question the sanity of the person who does not believe in God. Although I really can't grasp the concept of "forever" It is easier just to accept the fact that a superior being created it all instead of trying to make sense of all the half assed theories out there.
Look at the people who started the major religions...
buddhism, Islam... their creators are in their tombs. Jesus's tomb is empty. It was a borrowed tomb because he only needed it for the weekend.
I can not even associate with athiests and agnostics.
Think about it, if this was all some accident over billions and billions of years, and when you die that is it, then nothing has any consiquences, therefore you can't even have a conciense...
so nothing has any point accept for personal gain. why should you help anyone or be nice to anyone if it does not bennefit you personally, and when it comes time to decide who you want to hang out with or who you want to screw over that is how the decision process will be made.
I am far from a religious person, however I definately believe in God, not "a god" but the real God, the only God.
I am almost 28, and I think once you get past your early to mid 20's and you realize that one day you will actually die, usually when your body starts to slow down and feel pain.
I think you need to believe in something. If I didn't I don't think I would be able to do anything except curl up in a ball, lay on the floor, and shivver and cry

"i'm not here to judge anyone but i'd like those of u who don't believe to try... and we have lots of proof.."
"Proof" is very subjective. Your proof doesn't convince me whatsoever. You have *faith* ... you don't have *proof* You ARE judging others if you consider your faith is proof!
I grew up with a belief in God and a church. I watched this church belittle my mother for leaving an abusive husband and having the audacity to work for a living to support her children. I watched friends who are homosexual struggle with rejection and condemnation when all they wanted to do was love and be loved. Every day, I watch the injustice, hate, suffering and death of innocent people. I rail against the people who use religion as a weapon and as an excuse to sow injustice, hate and death. I realized that I am a person who can think on her own and make decisions without consulting an invisible man in the sky. I am much happier this way.
Worship whomever or whatever you want... god, allah, buddah or the rock in your garden. If it makes you happy, go right ahead. But don't tell me I'm ignoring "proof" and don't pity me or fear me. You do what you want and I'll do the same.

You may believe he is all around. I believe he is a total myth.
A guy form a primitive tribe took a course in car mechanics. And after the lesson he approached the tutor asking
"I am sorry - I do not mean to be disrespectful, but you did not tell us anything about how to look after the hundreds of horses there are in the engine."

I don't believe because I've never seen him. Show me. Come to house with god and i'll cook ya both dinner. I believe in Santa Claus more than i believe in some invisible guy in the sky who watches you and writes down everything you ever do. And then if you are not behaving well enough he punishes you for all eternity? sounds like an afterschool special to get kids to behave to me.

Different people have different beliefs. I happen to be a strong Catholic, and I don't quite understand how people can not believe in him, but that is not my place. That is one thing I think that the world will never fully understand. Just like God.

One's proof is not proof for other my dear.
1 + 1 = 2 in Log10
However
1 + 1 = 10 in Log2
So who is right.
Open your heart and mind. Let there be who ever don't believe.
Believe in yourself. It's most important than any God.
You are the one who run your life. Your God or other God's can't interface you every second of your life.
Your mind, soul, conscious and knowledge rule you.
God Bless You

God and Jesus and the Holy Ghost are my life
Without them I would be a sorry mess
So I don't understand how people get through all the tough times sorrowful times, the lowes and highes of this life
Life can be so sad at times and I really need someone outside myself and stronger than I to get me through it
I need Jesus and I am so thankful that I have him and that I was born in the freedom of the USA

Religion itself has a big blame in this. Many false practices and teachings. Bad conduct from religious leaders who bat for the nations and for God.
The world is alienated from God and yet churches delve in the world's political, commericial and religious systems.
Truth the casualty in this world and many are hidden from it.
Churches have become war memorials and politics and religious leaders are hand in hand.

Do a search on Y!A for this question. It's been asked thousands of times. This: "those who believe in God answer too and post your opinions about people who don't believe" leads me to believe you are looking for a flame war. I'll pass.
