Since there are "types" of pacifists, I'll list 'em and you can pick 'em.

Pacifist A: I don't support war, but I do believe in a country's right to self-defense once attacked.

Pacifist B: I don't support any wars, even when attacked, but I do believe in personal one-on-one self defense.

Pacifist C: I don't support any wars, etc., and I do not believe in self-defense.

Feel free to add your religion (or lack thereof) for the poll-keepers that watch and record our every move.

Why are the Jehovah's Witnesses so obsessed with the four letters JHVH or YHWH or LORD? Don't 99.9% of Bibles agree that YHWH or JHVH sound like the Hebrew for I AM that Christ identifies Himself with in John?

Civilization started around mesopotamia right? Couldnt the flood have only included some sea in that area, such as the black or mediterranean? This wayt would work better. It would kill less people and animals, require less animals onboard (and yes, no Ice % 9.

By the way, I have no opinion on this topic. Just looking for feedback.

And the Bible doesnt have to be 100% accurate you know. That area would have been all of the civilized world.

It started a few months ago. I noticed that every night I pray I have trouble sleeping. When I don't pray I sleep fine. It bugs me. Am I crazy or is there a good explaination why I do this?

They often display on this site a kind of disturbing arrogance in this regard. Atheists do not consider themselves above criticism. Nor do Christians. or Hindus,or Muslims. Every time anyone poses a question that has to do with anything they regard as reflecting unfavorably on them,they demand it be deleted. It doesn't seem to matter if it's offensive in any normal sense. You could ask "what is a mohar?" and get twenty vitriolic responses from jews. What gives? Are we supposed to be Palestinians surrounded by walls or pinned down in the Gaza Strip? I will be blunt - who do these people think they are? Our masters?
