No, No, that's just your imagination where they lose almost every argument. If you are thinking all that is real, you should get that attended to as a delusion. :)

It is true that a lot of you are very knowledgable and openminded to learning different views. Very impressive to say the least. Have to give you credit for that (I am being serious by the way).

But again, you can't be lumping us all together. How do you know that Christians won't read anything other than the bible? That is just the most narrow minded statement.

I love how when they try to refute say evolution with some cut and paste from a Christian website, and then get at least 5 answers using answers from real scientists explaining why that not only doesn't disprove anything, but is a bunch of garbage, they still choose the Christian that agrees with them despite having no relevant input on the situation.

Is it a surprise that I became more and more sure that there is no God the more I studied religion?

The problem with the way many Christians "study" religion is that they inhale dogma rather than actually study anything objectively. They study what their religion says rather than what it is and where it came from.

Heck, one of the easiest ways to become an atheist is to study the logical fallacies and then read any "proof" of God's existence you can find. They all appear childish when looked at at all critically.

so are you saying ALL christians dont read books besides the bible? how can you prove this? you cant. so stop assuming stuff. atheists are saying there is no god period. that does not stop simply at christianity but goes out to all other religion that has a god/gods. and we dont lose every single argument.

I believe you already answered your own question to your own satisfaction. As a Christian, I took the time to read the Koran. I will keep the Bible, thank you. If you are an athiest, why do you waste your time studying all these religions? Why do you just slap Christians? Jesus said that you will hate us because you first hated Him.

there we go again, with the sweeping generalizations...now, how would it seem to you if i pointed out that the ONE book you, as an enlightened atheist, apparently never got around to, was a spelling book...try 'actually', 'their', 'won't', 'etc.', 'whereas', and 'that's'...most of us Christians learned these words back in elementary school..
and, as an FYI, i read at least 3-4 books every week, and have since i was a kid...fiction, history, politics, sports...that's 4 decades of reading...3-4 books per week, more during vacation weeks, 52 weeks each year...you do the math

I am a Christian and I agree to a point with you. I study Greek and Hebrew and when you translate the bible it becomes clear how off the denominational churches are.

Oh, I'm sorry, but the panel of judges will decide who has won the argument.
I have read the rule book, and it's in the last chapter.

That is untrue, I am a christian and I also have taken the time to study other religions. They say you are not a true christian unless you respect and study other religions.

That is ridiculous, I was an atheist, I have studied many religions. Islam, Hinduism, New Age, Buddhism, Satanism, and Relativism to name a few.
