Since there are "types" of pacifists, I'll list 'em and you can pick 'em.

Pacifist A: I don't support war, but I do believe in a country's right to self-defense once attacked.

Pacifist B: I don't support any wars, even when attacked, but I do believe in personal one-on-one self defense.

Pacifist C: I don't support any wars, etc., and I do not believe in self-defense.

Feel free to add your religion (or lack thereof) for the poll-keepers that watch and record our every move.

I would be c, although I'm not 100% that I could hold to it in real life if I was in trouble.

What if you're not sure what religion you are?

I'm a pacifist...but I'm also a border-line criminalist....

I don't believe in hurting people (especially the masses) even though they often allow bad things to happen...
But it does get me angry that there are people who are so well off, yet there are others that have nothing at all. If the subjegated stood up for themselves...they would win.

I guess, that would only lead to other people taking power and the whole cycle starting over again.
Still...at least for a while everyone would be on the same level... I believe you should get what you want...even if that means mowing through the people that get in your way. But not if that means tearing down the masses...

That doesn't sound like a pacifist at all, hugn?
But Still, I'm a pacifist.

I try to be a peace-maker, and a peaceful person. That is what I believe a follower of Christ should be.
About being a pacifist: I can't say I oppose all war, but I do not believe in invading other countries, normally. However if a country attacks our country, then I believe all-out war is the appropriate response.
So I definitely believe in self-defence.
On a personal level, I believe in self-defence, but not in revenge. That is to say, if someone attacked me physically, I would be justified in using physical means to protect myself, even if that meant harming the other person. If I thought my wife's or my child's life were in danger, I would feel no compunction about coming up behind the person endangering them and hitting them on the head with a heavy blunt object, And I would hit hard enough to be sure that the person couldn't turn on me after. That could cause the person's death. It would be regrettable, but I'm not sure how much sleep I would lose over it. Because protecting my family would have a very high priority over my concern over their attacker's life or well-being.

Pacifist Buddhist here according to Buddhist philosophy: I don't support war, I don't support ANYTHING that causes harm and suffering and only those who can put a stop to someone/-thing causing harm and suffering, and can do it with COMPASSION should do so.
