The creation museum

People like this do NOT put your faith in a good light. Has anyone ever seen atheist stooges? Its like a one man hate group.

Did I say that I judged christians by these peoples actions? I am pointing out that other people might and Christians might need to worry about that.

And we are WELL aware of the athiests who make us all look like idiots. We point it out to them constantly.

Of course, I was aware that there are Christians out there that are making fools of themselves, and of the rest of us with their ridiculous antics. There really isn't much I can do about it, except to pray for them, and to try to show them just how silly they look.
I had never heard of the atheist-stooge, but I am not terribly surprised. I have met quite a few atheists who are one-man hate groups. Fortunately, there are also atheists who are good, reasonable people.
I wonder if we ought to tell them about the atheists who are making them look bad??
Hmmm.....

Christians, just as anyone else, who believe that they have the absolute truth, do not worry about what others might think of them. What difference does it make what someone else might think, if I KNOW that I have the truth. And what point is there in living according to someone else's expectations in the first place??

Unfortunately, as a Christian, I am painfully aware that there are TONS of people who say they they are Christians when they are not or if they are, they are terribly misguided. Anyone, Christian or not, should evaluate a preacher/pastor/friend anything(!) that claims to be a Christian and see if their walk matches their talk and if their walk and talk match the Bible. As for those of us who try to walk faithfully, all we can do is pray and try to tell people the truth of what we believe.

wanda3s4 has a good point. People are people, regardless of belief systems. And yes, I am very aware of how other people's actions within the Christian community reflect onto myself.

*sigh*

I can only be responsible for my actions. I can not control the actions of other people.

I can only hope that others will judge me by my actions and words and not those of someone who built a silly museum.

if your opinion of an entire group is based on atheist stooges and the creation museum, you tell me...who's the silly one?

All groups have them, although us Christians seem to have more (Bibleman, Veggie tales, etc.). Atheists have a fair sampling to, with so many of you (I assume your atheist) so close minded about the possiblilty of God(s).
