so we all came from adam and eve?
so that means we are related so we could not have survived becouse we will have the same genes
or
there was more people on earth
so adam and eve were not the fist persons on eartth

The teachings of both are extremely similar although I really can't espouse Paul's take on the teachings of Jesus. No, I am not a Christian but I agree with the general message of Jesus. And yes I am extremely well-versed in scripture, theology and catechisms so I don't need a lecture just your thoughts........Many blessings and namaste

When Christ forgave sin man was healed is his forgiveness greater than Allah's?
We see that Muslims believe Allah forgave Adam but Adam was still kicked out of the garden...Muslims tell me though Allah forgives man is still punished...Yet Christ forgave sin and restored the man was his forgiveness better than that of Allah?
Why doesn't Allah's forgiveness restore man to his righteouness? How is it Christ is greater than Allah?

k I KNOW that there is a general consensus of the OT not applying anymore, so whatever. But I suddenly got curious as to the extent of this verse. Would circumcision count against someone by this verse? Or was there no circumcision back in that time cause of health reasons? Someone please enlighten me :)

think how Ironic...they tell you we have no creator..we evolved out of nothing..the earth just evolved one day, then sea life micros atoms fish primates etc..
But the Virgin Birth is impossible?
Let me get this straight...we are to believe all existence came from unknown origin and formed from nothingness, But God can't form Life?
We "Christans" agree God created everything from nothing, so thanks for proving us right.

Someone's got to tell you..Erm..how can I put this...there is no man in the sky..It was just some crazy idea from 2000 years ago when men weren't as informed as now. I am really sorry to let you down. You know all the things that we can't explain so you say 'god must have done it' That list of things gets narrower and narrower every year/decade as logical intelligent scientists uncover new things.. Really sorry to break it to you like this but if it wasn't me telling you it would be someone else.

Taking two of every animal and having enough food for them to eat for 375 days is interesting. Do you realize that you need extra food brought to feed the live animals to be used for food? How many people were on the ark exactly, they must have worked for 375 days straight with no rest at all, tough for a guy 600 years old I would think.
And for those of you who do not remember reading in the Bible that they were on the ark for that long, read it again. It clearly states that they were in the ark on his 600th year, 2nd month, 17th day and left on his 601st year 2nd month, and 27th day they left the ark (Genesis chapter 7 & 8). Do you know how much room all that food would need? Do you realize what an elephant eats on a daily basis?

Most people would say the typical cop out, "no they spirit conceived her", that was not my question.

Most modern Christians would also say they are the same, God, Jesus, Holy Spirit, all same. That is already disproved by the bible, they are different people. Again not my question.

My question is that of lineage, we know, or are given in the bible that Joseph was of the Ruling house by birth, and if not for roman rule would have claime to the throne for Jerusalem. Mary as well would have like claim, as her lineage is also given. Yes they were distant cousins. Through witch parent Joseph or Mary did Jesus claim his rule? For if God was his father then Joseph being the man would have greater right to rule than Mary, or was Mary s lineage stronger (more direct) than Josephs?
