I want to start by saying that I believe in God.
Could it be that the Bible's editors didn't want us to know what Jesus had to say?

Sure, it's about magic, and we all know how most religions feel about magic. But how can it possibily be a sin when it's just a fictional story? Do you agree with those people who burned Harry Potter books? (waste of good paper if you ask me). LIke I said, I know it's about magic, but it's a big hit and it's fasinating. It teaches about friendship and standing up for what is right. Isn't the moral lesson within the Harry Potter books good for Kids to read about?

I know personally, when I have children, I'm going to read Harry Potter to them at night. And I personal don't think God is going to punish me for it since it's a make believe story. FICTION. Share your thoughts.

P.S. I know not all religions/people believe Harry Potter is evil.

I mean when we were kids, the vast majority of us were told, and believed, that Santa brought us our presents every year. And that the Easter Bunny brought us treats. And that spooks and goblins were out to get us at Halloween. But as time wore on, those stories became less and less believable.
Until one day, we realized that they were just childish stories designed to invoke wonder and imagination.
Now, I'm not saying that those things aren't important, but you MUST realize that they are just that; Imaginary stories.
So, why haven't any of you been able to grow up enough to realize that your stories about imaginary sky-pixies (you call them god) are just stories and fables?

I'm tired of people being hypocrites. They complain about parents abusing their children or neglecting them. Yet when Jehovah's Witnesses deny their children blood in the name of the Watchtower, and the child dies, it isn't abuse. When does religion impede on the law and morality? The terrorist killed 'heathens' in the name of their God. When elderly patients are neglected and die from lack of proper care, the caretakers can be charged with manslaughter. But what if one claimed her religion was against medical care? The caretaker could have guardianship over the elderly person. Just because you have ownership over a child, does that mean you can do anything to it you please? Even if it leads to it's death?

Then why aren't there any additions to the Bible? Why are we afraid of adding on to an unfinished book?

Some days ago I had the following dream about my five-year old grandson Aidan.

I dreamt that I was on my death bed with my grandson holding my hand and begging his poppa not to go. I told him that I would always be with him and never leave his side. I died and went to heaven. After being there for what seem eternity God asked me why I was always so sad. I explained to him that I missed my grandson and wished I could be with him. God said if I really missed him so much, he would let me go back to earth in spirit form, but that only my grandson would be able to see and communicate with me. The catch was that I would have to stay on the earth until the end of time. I said okay. As the dream progressed I saw my grandson age from a five year old child to an aged man. During all those years we spoke constantly. My grandson grew to be a kind and gracious person. But like all things the day came when he became gravely ill and passed away. At his grave site I mourned for him but I knew he was now in a better place. As I walked away from the grave I knew that until the end of time I would be so alone. Then I felt a small hand in my and a small voice say “I’ll never leave you poppa.”

Think for yourselves! We are not all evil! We are actually pretty nice people if you just BOTHER to learn anything about us!

Does accepting Jesus Christ as the sacrifice that paid for your sins, completely remove you of the potential to do sin?

But doesnt that clash with the thought that, as long as youre a human with an ego, you will sin?

Amazing truth that has not been the focus in mainstream christianity.
Get this too.. " the Last Adam became a life giving Spirit"
Is it that the Lord is the Spirit today to give us His very life and nature to live by?
According to Peter we have been made partakers of the Divine Nature

Some thoughs on this would be great....
