I don`t know about the slam dunk bit but yes you are correct about his objective.
We should remember that Angels are vastly more intelligent than we are and vastly more aware of their responsibility in God`s order of creation, once an Angel makes a decision to be faithful to God then this decision remains for all time and the same goes for those who like satan rebel against God,this too is an eternal and unchangeable condition.
We however being much lower than the Angels in our awareness of the gravity of sin have been given another chance, and this only comes through the death of Christ on the cross.
So although we can a be forgiven through Christ the devil wants to have us in perpetual rebellion(sin) right up to the moment of our death so that we cannot enter Heaven.

It is not his number one objective. Sorry, but His number one objective is to inhabit their body and by doing so, this is the last stage before he takes them to hell. And by the Commandments of God, Satan could care less if you obeyed them or not because the law is not what gets a man or a woman the rights to His kingdom but being born again and filled with the Spirit of God does...

So when my mom asks "Does my hair look nice?" and the honest answer is no, it looks like crap, you're saying I shouldn't lie and tell my 78-year old mother that it looks lovely? And by telling her something nice instead of the truth, it's satanic?
That's just stupid.

Commiting just one sin isn't your ticket to go to hell. If you reject God and you live a life mortally sinning, who knows what'll happen to you? God will decide. But God is very merciful and one little mistake isn't enough to send you to eternal suffering in hell for all eternity.

It 's the inalienable human right of everyone of us to make foolish irrational statements and make complete fools of ourselves. No law against that.

Well, how about that? You managed to annoy about ten thousand participants in Y!Answers with just a single silly remark. Way to go! You scored a slam dunk! Now please go away - far, far away.
