Someone's got to tell you..Erm..how can I put this...there is no man in the sky..It was just some crazy idea from 2000 years ago when men weren't as informed as now. I am really sorry to let you down. You know all the things that we can't explain so you say 'god must have done it' That list of things gets narrower and narrower every year/decade as logical intelligent scientists uncover new things.. Really sorry to break it to you like this but if it wasn't me telling you it would be someone else.
With this new knowledge what will you be doing on Sunday morning's instead of being bored in church?

Sorry to disappoint you, someone has already tried to tell me. I didn't listen to him either. I will be in church on Sunday, because I go to praise God, not to be entertained. It is not boring, it's actually very energizing, and up lifting. It doesn't matter how "narrow" the list of unexplained things gets,( narrow is the way) I believe God exists and is the creator. His word says we are ever learning and never coming to the full understanding. Narrow the list all you want, God is the creator of life. Get right or get left, choice is yours.

No matter if I am in church or in some other places I will be giving thanks and praise to the creative power the universe that created all life, and made a beautiful world for our enjoyment. I will be asking that power, the all knowing of the universe, to help me live my life better so that this planet can be a better place because I was here. I will be giving thanks for the things the are so fragile that no science can explain it; like a mother's love. And I will be praying for the enlightenment of the souls that can not understand how our world is so perfectly crafted and balanced that it can not be a cosmic accident.

Gee, really got to BREAK it to you JESUS was practising CPR 1,950 years before MAN was. It's in the BIBLE

He RESTORED LIFE TO A MAN WITH THE "Touch of his hands"

Astonishing, ain't it!

And a 3,000 year old BOOK says the Earth was finished up on the 4th day of creation 2/3 of the way from creation and Science says the Universe is 12-15 billion years old and the Sun and Earth came along 4 to 5 billions years ago, gee did you notice that's 2/3 of the way from the Big Bang.

And the Big Bang was postulated by a Believer in Man in the Sky, a Catholic Priest and CONFIRMED by Hubble and Bell Labs.

Gee, not bad for a nit wit

And Albert Einstein say: Science without religion is LAME and Relion without science is BLIND.

He also said in writing HE WAS NOT AN ATHEIST.

First of all, you have created God in Mankind's image, which is theologically inappropriate. God isn't a "man in the sky". God is an entity which is in all things. God is the creation force, by which evolution is possible.

Second of all, what proof do you have to say that there is no God? Since I am asking you for proof, don't be a smart alec and demand I prove proof that God does exist. Just provide your proof, and I will consider your point of view.

Thirdly, it is utter arrogance for people to think they are the masters of the universe, and that all things are explainable. That is simply a fallacy, which isn't very surprising, since everytime Humanity rises to a new unparallelled height, its society falls to its own decadence. (Rome, the Inca, Babylon, etc...)

People saying that the bible is the word of truth are ignorant to the fact that experience is the greatest teacher... humanity and their societies evolved with experiences.. so saying that which is written thousands of years ago is sounder than people today.. is like saying a child has more experience than an adult.... we are the product of our histories experience.... it cannot be done the other way around... hind sight is 20/20 prophecy is hit and miss...

i am not uncomfortable at all in telling you this....
God is real and i know because i know Him personally, i dont just know ABOUT Him, i have a relationship with Him and love Him so much!

not sure where your getting your info, wether it was ur parents who drummed it into you, or the media, or just your own conclusion because of life experience and surrounding, i am happy to inform you, you are wrong, and wow should you be glad! this world would be 50million times worse if it was just us and no God.

What will i be doing Sunday morning? Going to church, and enjoying every second of it! i go coz i want to, not coz i have to. i know the kind of "boring" church your talking about, so glad i dont go to one of them! hope you find a good one too that can introduce you to a very real, very exiting, very loving God!

thanks for stirring up my faith :-)

Wow you have completely shaken my faith in God!!

NOT

This is not original in the slightest, someone earlier today said almost the exact same thing word for word.

You know years ago scientists thought things that have been proven wrong, and maybe someday todays scientists will be proven wrong as well.

I don't believe in God because of the bible, or because someone else has told me to. So why would I then change my beliefs because some unknown person tell me to?

I was forced to go to AA meetings for drunk driving.
One of the steps (which I never plan on completing all of them) is to accept a Higher Power.
It doesn't have to have a name.
The more I thought about it, one would have to be stupid to think there was no Higher Power of some reasoning.
Maybe not a being called God, but something with a black-board and planning.
It's a lot easier for our fragile mind just to accept our minds are too small to pin-point the exact explanation.
Even if it is God, there is still a scientific explanation to Him.

Einstin who is considered one of the most intlligent man of the century said. "We do not even know on thousandth of the things there is to know". I challenged all the Scientist, researchers, inventors and every other profession to create 'one blade of grass' out of nothing with as much resources as they need. Only way they can do it is go out side and steal what God has already made. Scientist and researcher has only validated just now are finding out few things God created. So many philosophis, theory, assumption are proving to be false for example about evolution. You can check www.answersingenesis.org
This world is not about you, is not about me, we will be here only very short period of time anyway. History of the World is about one man, his purpose, and his love and grace to you, me and everyone else. There is only one option will you accept his love in your life time or will you reject it. Very Simple choice. Love You Man.

I'm afraid that you have a very immature concept of theism which isnot on a 5year old's level but has got the thinking of most of humanity's great intellects.
