Ok I'm behind the times. I hadn't heard of this Dateline debate between Kirk Cameron/his sidekick and The Rational Responders. Thank the universe for You Tube, I got to see what everyone was talking about.
Have you seen it? What did you think?

I found the crocoduck hilarious, especially after the dikika baby discovery last year which reveals the transitional form completely. Strange how people don't keep up with science these days.

I think there is a much better debate going on at Christianitytoday.com between the guy who wrote "God is Not Great" and a christian apologist. It is in four parts so far and addresses not the existence of God but whether or not Christianity is good for the world. Maybe it's because it is written but the arguments on both sides are much more intelligent and thought out.

What did the universe ever do for you that you should thank it? Oh... It made dirt... Then over millions of years the dirt became primortial goop... then another few million years it turned into simple life forms... then monkeys... then you...
Yes thank that lifeless universe!
As for the crocoducks, I think it's a bit of sillyness that expresses how laughable the theory of evolution actually is. I mean look at you... thanking a lifeless universe for youtube... That's kind of silly if you think about it.

It really made me wish the debate was just Kirk and that man from the rational responders and they lost the other two

I think it was a circus. There are much better people on both sides to conduct a debate than those selected.

I saw it.
I thought it was retarded. Comfort and Cameron ended the debate as soon as it stared by using the Bible, and arguing from design.
Personally, I think Comfort and Cameron... are.. you know... doin' somethin' naughty together.
