According to this fellow anyway:

"I am not talking about Catholics, but real Christians, many people bring up the Crusades - those were not done by Christians, but evil people."

Does anyone else love it when Christians attack other Christians. They are so deluded that they think they are superior over each other!!!

Pope Gregory, more than any other man that ever lived, is responsible for the bible we have today. He is to blame for the fact that Christianity is about control and not enlightenment.

Catholics believe Christ died and rose from the dead three days later. They believe in the Holy Trinity. They follow the bible, (even though thier action are misinterpreted a LOT by people unwilling to do actual research) The follow the steps of Christ. How does that make them not Christian.
And blaming the Cruisades on all catholics is like blaming slavery on all whites. Its not even close.

Of course not every Catholic is to blame for the Crusades, but to forget it came from the Catholics is stupid.

Catholics and Christians are pretty much the same, except all Catholics believe in the Holy Trinity.. and there are many types of Christians.

As a Catholic I find it more than strange when Protestants say that I am not Christian. I have never heard an Orthodox say the same thing. Then the same Protestant will go on to state that Christianity is the world's largest religion

I have never been told that about not being Christian more in my life than in the last few days of belonging to this forum. LOL.

"There are not 100 people on earth who truly hate the Catholic Church, but there are millions that hate what they think is the Catholic Church!" (Bishop Fulton J. Sheen)

I just had a discussion about this the other day with someone. The Catholic Church accepts all baptisms done with water and having the trinitarian formula. Funny though---some other denominations 're-baptize'...when scripture clearly states that there is only ONE Baptism.

As far as I am concerned---all Christians belong to the Catholic faith. You know, no salvation outside the CHURCH.

Most protestants get hung up on misconceptions that they have not fully educated themselves on, in my experience.

LOL--look at the post just above this one! Errors. Funny ones too.

Gee, did you know that there were no Christians on earth but Catholics for most of the history of Christianity? Did you know that Jesus Christ founded only one Church, and that the Catholic Church is the only Church that can trace its history to Apostolic times? Did you know that Jesus condemned the idea of founding multiple churches with conflicting doctrinal beliefs?

I have always found it interesting how stuck-up the Protestant sects can get about not considering Roman Catholics christians. Funny, the Roman Catholics were around many years before they were and the Protestants are an off-shoot of them not the other way around.

Not only is Christianity superior to all other religions but *my brand* of Christianity is superior to all other brands of Christianity. Of course my own church within my denomination might very well be superior to all other churches as well.

Wake up and smell the coffee, which Christian will admit that they are not true Christians? All Christians believe they are true Christians including those who commit the worse atrocities.
