Tell me what you believe.
I think i've seen a couple crazies who would answer with "B"; i just had to reassure myself that no one believes that.
Atheists (or "Atheists"):
A. Truly do not believe in god.
B. Secretly believe in god; they just don't want to obey him.

Yeah, when i said "Atheists" i was directing it towards those who would answer "B"...basically a person who is a Theist and believes in the Christian god, but simply chooses not to follow him, and has no problem with that. This person is also completely aware that heaven and hell exist, and how to go to each, they simply choose to not obey god.
i've seen a couple people who think atheists are really theists in disguise, playing the role of the kinda guy i just mentioned above.
i think thats BS.

As a Christian, I truly do believe in God AND want to obey Him. After all He has done for me and brought me through, I naturally want to serve Him.
Think of it this way. If you met a person who went out of their way to always be there for you, to always help you in your times of need, then you would naturally be inclined to have respect for them. In turn, when the time came where you could do things for them, you would automatically want to -- not out of mere obligation to repay, but out of caring and respect.
Well, after all the miracles and blessings I have experienced and all the peace and joy in spite of hard times, I owe it to God to serve Him plus I love and respect Him enough to want to serve Him.

A.
that is, Atheists. By definition. Not too many "true" atheists around. And, just for fun, here's a quote!
“Being an atheist is really interesting because to be a classic atheist you must know for certain that no god exists anywhere either in our outside the known universe and to do that you must know everything about everywhere both inside and outside the known universe...and well...that would make you God.”

I would have to go with A, although I can not claim to know the hearts and minds of all Atheists. From the answers I have seen in here though, I am pretty sure they do not believe in any god

I'll go with A. I'm a Christian, but have a lot of atheist friends, and they simply don't believe in God (or any other deity, for that matter). Option B makes no sense. Why would they be concerned with disobeying something they don't even believe in?

I believe there is a purposefully placed yearnnig in everyone to be in communion with God, whether they believe he is there or not. True athiests have rationed in their head that for whatever reason God is not real. I think they truely believe this in their thoughts, in their heart I believe they deeply want a God. They say this feeling must be ignored because "of course we all would like to think there is an aterlife and a God, but that's just irrational thinking". Well ike C.S. Lewis said, - Think of food, sex, love, and any universal human desire... no natural born desire is in us that isn't meant to be filled, and we desire for God to be real. That doesn't mean your mind can't find a way to rationalize a way out of a belief in God. I do believe many athiests choose ont to believe in a God because they don't want to be held accountable for any wrongs they commit in their life, the idea of judgement scares people out of belief. That's why many people believe in Heaven and God but choose not believe in Hell.

There are so called "luke warm" christians, who do not follow the Lord with their hearts, but they only praise Him with their lips, as the Bible says--- however their hearts are far from God.
I believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, that He is the Father, Son and Holy Spirit, and that He died and rose again, so I could be saved from sin and hell- I know I am a sinner and need His forgiveness in order to receive the kingdom of Heaven and be with Him forever. And I want to repent of sin and follow Him and ALWAYS stand up for the truth!
See Romans 10 about how one must be saved.

I think it's a mixture of the two. Some are As and some are Bs. Although, I think the Bs would be more of agnostics than atheists. What do YOU believe?

I think it is A. Why would they deny the love the Lord has to offer? If they truly believed and pretended not to, they would be going to hell anyway.
