more often than trying to create your own response to the question.

for example, when someone asks how god was created, a typical christian response is "he has always been there". No matter how many times this question is asked, I often find myself laughing at the responses.

Acts 9: 1-7: And Saul...and suddenly there shined round about him a light from heaven: And he fell to the earth, and heard a voice saying unto him, Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me?...Lord, what wilt thou have me to do? And the Lord said unto him, Arise, and go into the city, and it shall be told thee what thou must do. And the men which journeyed with him stood speechless, hearing a voice, but seeing no man.
Acts 26: 12-18 And he said, I am Jesus whom thou persecutest. But rise, and stand upon thy feet: for I have appeared unto thee for this purpose, to make thee a minister and a witness both of these things which thou hast seen,...Delivering thee from the people, and from the Gentiles,....sanctified by faith that is in me.

Be honest. In the 1st verse Jesus told him to go to the city to find out what Paul must do. In the 2nd verse, we see Jesus already telling Paul what he must do!

Please read both the above in CONTEXT and the CONTRADICTION is still staring at you right?

Not true. I just would like someone to say how they got this information. Not just repeating what some other has said. Most, not all, Christians know the bible very well. I'm sure there are a few atheists that studied the bible and do know it, but I would assume others do not.

I keep hearing this and for the life of me I can’t figure it out. And, I’m on a school board!

As far as I know a student can pray all he or she wants to during school. They can even roll around on the cafeteria floor, spread mac & cheese on their chest and jabber in tongues. They can raise holy hands and slay each other in the spirit. No one is stopping any of this.

What you can’t do is lead a group of students in prayer as part of a structured school activity. Nor can a student interrupt classroom time to pray. But they also are not allow interrupt class time to sing “Highway to Hell” either. But even here there are exceptions; A Bible club is free to pray until mold grows out of their ears. Sports teams can pray before games provided that the prayer is not mandatory.

So where did the idea that students can’t pray in school come from?

A magic trick is never quite the same once you know how it has been done. Once this information has been revealed to you, though, you can view the performance in a different way. Now, instead of being amazed, you can be amused. You can appreciate sleight of hand; the skill involved in perpetrating the deception. Innocence lost, can never be regained but it can be replaced by the kind of maturity that can only ever come from experience. What do you think?

praying for everyday help (get job, find love whatever)

praying for spiritual enrichment?

1 i never find any contradictions
2 read the bible in context
3 dont just pull out one or two verse

Instead of explaining that the verses dont contradict, your replies are always evasive. Whats the point in giving any one of the replies above? If you believe and are convinced that there are no contradictions, then, the ONUS is on you to prove otherwise. If you cant do it then refrain from offering evasive answers.

my God came from a human being as a baby with blood all on him, crying so someone hold him and take care of him?
my God needed his mom to take care of him, calm him down when he cries, feed him when he is hungry, dresses him up and take him to the bathroom?
my God had to go to the bathroom (God forbid)?
and the worse part is my God ended up killed by humilating him, torturing him, abues him, and then kill him?
my God was talking to himself on the cross when he said "My God! my God! why didn't you forsaken me?!"


this is not my God, but the one who sent him is. go lie to your self and believe what you want to believe, this is not my God, but the one who created you and me is. and God has the power of forgiviness, no one need to die for forgiviness, bad people are not equal to good ones. everyone responsible of his own deeds. peace

In 2001 approximately 80% of the U.S. was Christian.

So is it the atheists/agnostics?
Only 15% here. That makes no sense at a ratio of more than 4 to 1.

The Jews? 1.4%
That is even worse.

How about those pesky Buddhists at 0.2%?
Can’t be.

Could it be some weird form of self abuse?

Perhaps the persecution is like their god?
Sort of imaginary?

How is it that a vast majority can be so brutally persecuted by a bunch of minorities?

If in nature a creature that is with out an oppisit sex mate can CHANGE it sex... I believe some frogs do this as well as other species... if our Creator accepts this, allows this in nature then why does society have such a BIG problem with it?

I myself am not gay or lesbiean, however I do have friends that are... and I love them for WHO they are not what they do in the priavcy of their own bedrooms. And because I love my friends, and most of human kind... I do not feel it is my right to judge or condemn them...what I do believe it is my right to do is to love unconditionally, and to accept what makes them happy as long as it does not hurt or harm someone else.

So...why do so many feel it is their right to pass judgement when it seems that Creator accepts it and allows this in nature?

Really, what is so wrong about it?

I'd like to think that he had a family, knew a little of one of life's most basic pleasures before dying in such an awful way. Even though I'm an atheist, I believe that Jesus existed, and I find the thought that he might have had a family to be pleasant, almost comforting.

I've been corresponding with a lady from Washington State. She has problems, mostly due to an adulterous, alchoholic husband with whom she is seperated.

I received this letter this morning. Will you help?

"What I have been asking God for is for my son......we have been without our home due to water damage....been living with friends, and it has been going on and on....paying a mortgage on a house I can not live in, no insurance....my son is hurting and I need my home...cant afford to rent another place, and too damaged to sell, all our money from years of payments are in that house.....it is getting worse and worse...it is for my son, I love my son....he needs a home...I believe I have been selfless. I don't ask for anything for myself..nothing not even love, just a home for my son....... that is what I pray for, ....I give glory to God for all the blessings I have..the health of my family, my job, my friends....that is what I ask God for...just a home for my son."
