What about Abram, Abraham, Adam, Moses, Sarah, Hagar etc.? Isn't it obvious that the Living God of the Old Testament was Jesus Christ?

do you punish the kid for being molested? Or is that your fault and YOUR bad parenting for leaving them with a molester in the first place?

Would you do it as a test of your child's obediance? How long would you leave the child with the molester before you realized HE IS A MOLESTER, that shouldn't be left with your kids?

How does this relate to the tale of the Christian god tossing the devil down to earth, free to roam about in the garden of Eden, and then leaving him in charge of the Earth?

So many words are spoken
Upon ears that strain to hear.
Words of light and of wisdom
And too words of hate and fear.
We must learn to hear 'tween them.
To the meaning it implies.
We must gently find the truth.
And not listen to the lies.
Words have double meaning.
They can twist and turn away.
So be careful to listen.
And doubly careful what you say.

If Jesus is the same as God, and he spoke to Paul, how can you prove Mohammed was a liar? How do you know that Christ=God didn't speak to Mohammed or John Smith or Confucius? How can you prove the seventy four elders of Israel that spoke face to face with the Living God, Jehovah, YHWH, I AM in Exodus are liars?

I've seen a couple of people suggest that Satan can quote scripture better than "christians". But so can the Pope and just about anyone who has studied the bible.

Does knowledge of the scripture mean the individual is Satan? Does the fact you disagree with someone's interpretation of the bible mean that individual is Satan?

Are the only people free from such an accusation those who always agree with you? And if so, how do you distinguish between correct scriptural interpretation and ego-stroking?

There have been those who suggest teaching Love may be a cover for satanic efforts to deceive. Should we be fearful of all such individuals, or only those whose interpretation of Love disagrees with ours?

And again, when such accusations depend upon whether an individual agrees with us or disagrees, is not the accusation nothing more than revenge taken against those who disagree?

Putting aside, for the moment, the objections Protestants and others have to the status of Mary in the Catholic church and the place she has in our devotional lives (including the rosary and prayers, statues, all of that -- the points we all know are in contention):

Does the Mary of the Bible have any significance at all to you? Is she a worthy example to follow ("let it be done to me according to your word", "do whatever he tells you")? Or does she make an appearance at Christmas in the music and Nativity scenes and that's pretty much it -- a necessity for the Incarnation but hustled off the stage soon thereafter? How do you really feel about this blessed woman who brought Christ into the world?

I'd honestly like to get beyond the reactions to what Catholicism has made of her and discover the place (if any) the woman who bore the incarnate Word and was present at both Calvary and Pentecost has in the personal beliefs of non-Catholic Christians, and those of other faiths.

1 Corinthians 8:6 is clear that there is a distinction between God and Lord God ( Living God, JEHOVAH, YHWH). Revelation 14 is clear that there is distinction between the Lamb of God, and the Father Almighty.

Why do Jehovah's Witnesses have such a hard time with the writings of John, 1 John, and Revelation? ISN'T IT OBVIOUS THAT CHRIST IS THE LIVING GOD OF THE OLD TESTAMENT? WHO DO THESE PEOPLE THINK MOSES, ABRAM, ABRAHAM WERE LOOKING AT FACE TO FACE? WHY DO JEHOVAH'S WITNESSES THINK CHRIST WAS THE ANGEL IN REVELATION? WHY DO THEY IGNORE THE ANGEL WHO COMMANDED THEM NOT TO WORSHIP ANGELS?

I'm asking this question specifically for the atheists. I want to know if atheists understand the concept of faith as in the Biblical fruit of the spirit (love, joy, peace, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness and suffering)? What do you understand about the concept of faith?

There is no dis-comfort in "the God of all comfort".
There is much dis-comfort in an Awful Lawful God.

The God of all grace make you: perfect...stablished,
after ye(do err, greatly & alway) suffer awhile in law.

Grace: I will never leave thee nor forsake thee.
Law: I will forsake you, the city, and your fathers.

The GRACE of our Lord JC with you all. Amen.
