Of course that's not appropriate!
I do think it's sad that many atheists know scripture better than many Christians. Actually, I have a story about that. I'm on here nearly every day, in the R&S section. I like to have my faith challenged, though I haven't seen any questions yet that have REALLY challenged me.
One night in Bible study, I brought up a passage that an atheist on here had pointed out. (It's in both Mark 16:17-19 and Luke 10:18-20. It's the one about trampling on snakes, casting out demons, and healing people.) Nearly EVERYONE in the group claimed that it wasn't in the Bible at all. Only ONE person knew the Bible well enough to know approximately where the passage was located.
Once it turned out that I was right, everyone apologized. I told them they need to understand that THAT is why I'm on Y!A so much. Leave it up to the atheists to find really obscure passages, demanding to know what they mean! That's what I love about you guys, actually. :)
Anyway, I'm not going to answer the rest of your questions. I will, however, say this. Many Christians get to the point where it's so hard to defend themselves, they have to resort to veiled (sometimes NOT so veiled) insults. It doesn't make it right, but unfortunately, that's the way some people are.

Scholars can interpret anything in their favour suiting to their own arguements.
The Bible, The WORD also perhaps no different from that.
Imagine if you truly believe the God to be 100% Omnipotent, Omnipresent and Omniscient when we use the words Jevoha or Jesus, it is All pervading, who is everywhere, so what is it that name devoid of Jevoha to limit Jevoha against Word of Jevoha ?
The Most important thing lying beneath all these scriptures is the 100 % Omni status of God. So for a True Seeker the God shall certainly be revealed beyond doubt. And for the doubtful, perhaps also like us, may be there is no harm going thru all those arguements regading God, like the arguments of Veda and Vedanta, whether this is God or Satan, like that stuff, for at least it helps to keep our interests oriented towards God in some manner, ultimately compelling the the 100 % All Mighty Lord to lead us in the right path towards Him. Remember the God should be Omnipotent 100 % to take care of someone who is oriented towards Him.
Perhaps the ego of us that God can only be like this limited to our judgements and imaginations are leading to all kinds of arguements. We often forget the 100 % Omni's capacity to be presented before different ones in different manners.
But Then,
May be these wondeful arguments pave the way to generate more and more interests within us to ponder more into the Great Inscruitable Wonder ie 100 % Omni -- Lord. After all, its not just the Intellectuals or Brahmins who are claimed to have some extra capacity in some parts of the brains the only receivers of Grace ... right ???? Its the birth right of even the commons and even the meanest of meanest who know not even reading or writing and ignorant of any Scriptures to Realise the God and to identify His Grace at some point of time in this birth or in other births as the Gene of Soul travels thru many centuries.

Seems like with everyone one of your "questions" you have your mind already made up and you have a personal Axe to grind with Christians.
Before I can pull a splinter out of my neighbor's eye I must first remove the plank in mine.
Everytime my ego is bruised I thank God for giving me the gift of humility. I don't accuse anyone of being Satan in disguise.
I don't know what kind of Christianity you've been exposed to but it sounds like an inauthentic kind.
Disagreement is a part of life and not everyone will agree with you on every issue but that certainly doesn't mean anyone (regardless of spiritual views) should be throwing out hate-filled sentiments.

Satan DOES know the Scriptures very well, BUT he twists it around to suit him, and the works that he does to turn people AGAINST Christ. remember if you have read the Bible when he tempted Christ for 40 days, and Christ ALWAYS said "IT IS WRITTEN" When the religious leaders had Him Murdered on Calvary before it happened and He was questioned by them, HE ALWAYS respond, "It is Written, OR Have you not READ" Being a Top Contributor in this Forum you should remember this. Satan WAS AROUND long before man and WAS ONE of the mightiest Angels in heaven BEFORE he fell. He WAS ONE of the Guardians of the Mercy Seat. He was created in the Full Pattern of Beauty and WISDOM. Please re-read EZEKIEL Chapter 28 slowly to fully understand this. Just trying to help, and if you would like more please let me know and I will be more than happy to do so.

People are misguided. Do I believe ppl are encased by satan if they aren't Christian?? I only have what the bible says on that and it state that if you aren't for Christ, you are against Him. There are many proclaiming to be Christian that are doing far better work for satan than any atheist could dream of. Will I say someone is bound by satan, no, its not my job to figure it out, thats God's.
Knowledge of scripture, used for God's work, isn't satan. Used to decieve and be twisted, yes it is.
All this boils down to testing of the Spirit, if what you see lines up with the word of God and is used to help and not hinder, used to uplift and not whomp, and to help ppl see God's love and purpose, then its not satan.

First, pastime a million:6 would not say devil entered Heaven. the author says the "sons of God" got here to cutting-edge themselves and expressly keeps devil cut loose something. Paul, centuries later, might say that devil is switched over into an angel of light--perhaps he became attempting to sneak previous God? we don't understand for particular. Paul additionally stated as devil the "prince of the potential of the air" and Peter warned believers to be alert, and so on. (a million Peter 5:8) through fact only as devil is walking approximately, in seek of a few thing to consume, so he became walking up and down in the earth in the time of pastime. Then, secondly, the area approximately no longer something defiled entering heaven comes from Revelation 21. in the context, John is pointing out that it is the holy city, New Jerusalem, which no longer something defiled will enter. as nicely, all it truly is after God makes new heavens and a sparkling earth so--there is no longer something defiled, and so on., at that component! an marvelous question, and that i promise to action picture star it as exciting.

Satan does know the Bible by heart. He will use it to 'catch prey', if you will. He is decieving and tricky.
How you can tell someone their bad actions are the Devil actions, to me anyway, is they don't know what they do that is bad is wrong. They don't acknowledge it, and accept they hurt you. When you tell the person to stop because their hurting you, and they don't it's the devil.
I could write a book on this. I take great interest in this topic. I am not a fan of the devil in the least bit. But, I would like to get educated on why people hurt people, and who is to be blamed.
Blaming the devil is easy to do because of the evil actions he is known to do and able of doing.
People are given a choice to chose good over evil and when they chose to be evil, to me, it is the evil acts of the devil has put in our minds.

For starters I usually listen only to a Christian whom I trust to help me understand Scripture. I trust one whom I believe truly follows Christ and has my best interests at heart. We may not always agree but there must be respect. One may be truly knowledgeable of many things but if one does not follow Christ, truly believing in His Divine Nature. In His Virgin birth, death on the cross, and Resurrection , then I cannot follow Him as far as His interpretation of Scripture.

Yea, I get your point. Did you ever notice that people who are really self-conscious about their looks, about their weight and how their clothes look, hate how they look in a mirror?
Yet they keep going back over and over to that mirror that convinces them of how fat and ugly they really are, and they hate that mirror because of it, yet they keep going back and looking at themselves over and over in the mirror that disagrees with their perception of how things should be, yet what choice does the mirror have?
The really funny thing is when they look "at" the mirror, and with an air of smug, self-righteousness and say, "Ah. What do you know? You wouldn't know beauty if it jumped out in front of you." And then they walk away with little or no thought as to the fact that they just cavalierly put an inanimate object in its place that they have, presumably, for the purpose of wanting its reflection of them to lie to them and stroke their vanity for the next couple of hours while they're out in the world.
However, the truth is-they're still fat and ugly.
