A single guy, no wife, no girlfriend...it seems to me that gays are more God-like than their heterosexual brothers are.

Christians, Muslims and Jews need someone to paint as the bad guys. Homosexuals are just a convenient minority. Throughout history, when they weren't scapegoating another minority, they were doing it to each other.

If you read the creation story in Genesis, chapter 2 tells about how when God first made "man" he was neither male or female. God then caused a sleep to come on the "man" and he withdrew from him some of the "traits", or "parts", (or whatever you want to call them) that would be unique to females, and left others to be unique to males.

He designed them in such a way that only when male and female are united is the fullness of "man" evident. Two person of the same gender together do not reflect the full image that God intended for "man".

Plus there is that little thing called "procreation", which seems to be somewhat important to the continuation of the human race.

Also, I have never meet a gay who was "celebrate". Meaning they forgo any sexual relations. If they did, they would not be gay.

If you take the time to read the New Testament it specifically states that Jesus is married. His bride is the church.

God has said that marriage is between a man and a woman. Within the confines of marriage, He has provided sex to bring a man and his wife together as one. You may think gays are more God-like, but God has said that homosexuality is an abomination. I will therefore go with God, since His opinion is the one that counts.

Actually when people quote the verses that call homosexuality an abomination, which it does, they, as do most, do not understand what is being said. They take it out of context. What is called an abomination in the Bible is actually speaking of pederasty.

God, however, created sex. When He created it, there was only a man and a woman there to carry it out. He told us to be fruitful and multiply. Homosexuals can only, (apparently), be fruitful. They cannot multiply, except by recruiting others into their cult. Gays more god-like? So you picture God having sex with another male? Interesting, your perspective on God and what He's like.

Because God created and intended for ALL humans to be either heterosexual or celibate. The engineers that design a car don't have to actually drive it to know what is the best way to take care of it. God created us and has the right to tell us what to do and how to live our lives.
