Coz its a free world.
Parts of Saudi arabia have churches. Just not Mecca and Medina. They are the holy cities God has sent angels to protect at every gate.
The reason why mosques are aloud in England a "christian" country? Because the amount of faith you have here is not enough to limit other faiths due to being a "holy land" which it isn't. There are many faiths in Enlgand, it isn't 100% christian. If it was, it wouldn't make sense to build a mosque. But it does make sense, coz there are muslims in Britain.
Mecca and Medina are holy lands and all the residents are muslim. Therefor you can't build a church.
Maybe other cities in Saudi Arabia but not the above two.
Common sense really.

Try that we are an open modern country that allows different racial groups and different religions so have the freedom to share there differences.
Also why not have another mosque when we have christian churches all over the world including Islamic countries which include Saudi Arabia, Egypt.
Another reason we are getting another mosque could be the fact that a lot of British citizens of a white origin have converted to Islam and want to practise their new religion in a nice big mosque.

islam is the fastest growing religion in the world. With above average birth rates and more immigration then any faith group into western countries, it is only a matter of time.......
....the UK will be a muslim country one day. Of course, then the doo-gooders will say "we invited them". I effin didn't!

I would prefer if there were no churches and no mosques of any religion or denomination.
However, we have freedom of religion in this country and therefore you and I can both stick our religiously-intolerant views up our respective backsides.

What's wrong with that. People have freedom of religion in the UK. Would you rather go back to the Puritan times when you couldn't roll up your sleeves or go to a movie?

you are blonde, there are christian churches in saudi and they always make an effort to make the christians feel at home at christmas time etc.
Your just going to have to get used to the fact that not all british people are christian, so why shouldn't their religions be accommodated?
Added: How many white brits actually believe in god or go to church or are even bothered about religion? NOT MANY AT ALL so why do they kick up a fuss when something like this happens!
