The inspired writings of the apostles Paul and John are perfectly consistent with the entirety of the Bible.
(2 Peter 1:20-21) For you know this first, that no prophecy of Scripture springs from any private interpretation. For prophecy was at no time brought by man’s will, but men spoke from God as they were borne along by holy spirit.

True enough. I guess the answer will be Faith.
But unfortunately Faith relies completely on the original story teller. So if Joseph Smith gets to you first, or is the most convincing then you become a Mormon, if Ellen White gets you or is more convincing, then you become a Seventh Day Adventist, if a Muslim gets to you, you turn to Islam, or a Buddhist etc....
Relying on Faith over Physical?Scientific evidence and understanding can lead to thousands of different religions.
Christians claim that they know there is a God because they can feel him. So do Muslims, Hindu's, Jew's and so on.
Claiming a vested interest in religion cannot be accepted as a form of proof, just as claiming a vested interest in the theory of an earth centric universe didn't make it true.
Many answers claim that Mohammed denies the divinity of Christ, or that Christ is alive in heaven. The truth is that these are just statements based completely in faith and that disregard the faith of all other religious people. They are foundations based on Sand, which ironically is a key biblical tenent.

The writings of Mohamed contradict the writings of Paul on several accounts. Since Moses said that two prophets cannot contradict each other (God wouldn't contradict himself), then at least one of the two is lying.
Likewise, the teachings of Paul contradict the teachings of John Smith also, so we have to conclude again that one of the two must be lying.
Confucius never claimed to have spoken to any god, as far as I know, so that is an easy one. Confucius never claimed to be more that a mere human philosopher, so why not take his word for it? If he HAD seen god, he surely would have mentioned it.

Mohammed never repented of sin , nor did he commit his life to Jesus Christ, and he rejected the Scriptures and teachings of the apostles.
Muhammed was born almost 600 years after Christ.
He tried to re-write history and falsify the teachings of Christ by writing the Quran.
Muslims (and Islam) say Jesus was a prophet but they reject all His teachings ...that is hypocrisy...
They deny the divinity of Christ.
they deny his claim to be the Son of God;
they deny his death on the cross...
they deny His ressurrection..
They deny Jesus is the Christ/ Messiah...
In fact, the Quran says: "Allah has no son".
Need I say more...?
Don't be deceived. The Islamic god is totally different than the God of Jesus Christ .
The Bible calls Muhammed and those like him False prophets.....
"Who is a liar but he that denies that Jesus is the Christ? He is anti-Christ, that denies the Father and the Son. He that denies the Son, the same has not the Father." (I John 2:22)

One easy answer - Mohamed is still in his grave. Christ isn't.
But a more logical approach, why would God contradict himself so drastically? (I know I'm gonna hear that the Bible is full of contradictions - but if you check those out in context, they fall apart completely.) He tells Paul to stop persecuting him and love everyone, which confirms his earlier teachings. He then tells Mohamed that he should kill anyone who doesn't believe. Where is the logic in that argument?

What they preach/teach contradicts with what the Bible tells us. That's how we know that Mohammad, Joseph Smith, etc. never spoke with God.

Because the beliefs of Islam, Mormons and JW's are so contrary to the Biblical teaching that they can't be from the same God. Mohammad himself believed he was being spoken to by demons, became suicidal and attempted to kill himself many times. It was only his wife who convinced him he must be some kind of prophet. Compare him with Jesus, Paul or John and you see a madman.

Jesus is not God, those who are saying that Jesus is God have no idea how huge errors they are making. your God is the one who created you and created Jesus inside his mother. your God is the one who sent Jesus to you. people have no idea how huge disbelieve they are doing by saying Jesus is God. GOd have mercy on us in the day of jugement. i don't blame him for being Angry because he creates and you worship another, he give and you thanks another.
