Do you think GOD exists somewhere in the mountains...or in the clouds...or somewhere in the sky...

Or is it just a driving force...a spiritual understanding that we possess...which guides us to various paths???

It is said in Quran that the followers of Jesus will remain above the all till the day of judgment the text of the relevant verse is as "when Allah said: O Jesus! Lo! I am gathering thee and causing thee to ascend unto Me, and am cleansing thee of those who disbelieve and am setting those who follow thee above those who disbelieve until the Day of Resurrection. Then unto Me ye will (all) return, and I shall judge between you as to that wherein ye used to differ. " 03:55 Al-Quran
In the light of this verse Muslims should also follow Jesus; however they are following Muhammad but for what? As goal can be achieved by following Jesus then why Muslim doesn’t follow?

Isn't it painfully obvious that it was God who made the covenants with Noah, Abraham, Hagar, and Moses and the Lord God who appeared face to face with the 74 elders of Israel? Isn't it obvious that the angel of Revelation is not the Lamb or the Father Almighty? Isn't it obvious you need to read the Song of Moses and the Song of the Lamb? Isn't it obvious that Moses worshipped the Lord God, Jehovah, the Living God as his God Almighty? Isn't it obvious Moses didn't know the distinction between Lord God and God?

Mine is "Did Noah put a couple of pigmies in his ark or did pigmies EVOLVE from Noah's children?"

I did not get a single answer from Xtians, other than "Shut up!" or "Read your Bible" or the typical "If you're an Atheist, what are you doing in R&S?", but no answer at all.

Adam and Eve's kids must have been having sexual relationships with each other in order to make everyone else and then all their cousins had to have been having sexual relationships with each other. Not that I believe in Christianity at all, but Christians, YEA, it never really says anything about it because the people who made it forgot to think about the fact that Adam and Eve's kids would have had to have incest yet the people who wrote the bible keep talking about how wrong it is for anyone to participate in the act. You see, when you lie, you're going to trip over the tie you're wearing and make a fool out of yourself at some point.

Read this excerpt from Carl Sagan's writing...

One prominent American religion confidently predicted that the world would end in 1914. Well, 1914 has come and gone, and – whole the events of that year were certainly of some importance – the world did not, at least so far as I can see, seem to have ended. There are at least three responses that an organized religion can make in the face of such a failed and fundamental prophecy. They could have said, Oh, did we say '1914'? So sorry, we meant '2014'. A slight error in calculation. Hope you weren't inconvinenced in any way. But they did not. They could have said, Well, the world would have ended, except we prayed very hard and interceded with God so He spared the Earth. But they did not. Instead, the did something much more ingenious. They announced that the world had in fact ended in 1914, and if the rest of us hadn't noticed, that was our lookout.

According to Christians, the only prerequisite for gaining passage into heaven is to accept Jesus into your life as your lord and savior and be saved.
Much controversy swarms around whether or not Hitler was a Christian. Assuming he was or if he accepted Christ on his deathbed, then according to Christians, Adolf Hiller would be in heaven, while the six million innocent Jewish lives that were tortured, gassed and massacared would be sent immediately to Hell!
How can Christians live such a life of hypocrisy? How can they not see the holes in what they are taught?
Christians believe that anyone could be saved; Hitler, Arafat, Osama bin Laden; just accept Jesus and it's that easy.

So, please explain it like I'm 5 years old. What is prayer in school? What do kids need to pray for? What do they ask? And how do they do it? And why should they need to?

You would think in this day of age, with all the intelligence and technology we possess that religion would have more or less died out. Why do people still bother following it? Shouldn't we all just accept that life is for living and not believing (in ancient myths)? Theres people who stand outside our church preaching all day long, quoting the bible and shouting to the public that theyre all sinners and should find god...shouldnt these people be sectioned? Kids throw eggs at them and they still carry on! Get a grip!

Do you know several mainstream churches are looking at homosexuality in a new light and no longer considers it to be sin or condemned in the Bible. Their scholars have searched the original texts and come to a different conclusion than the traditional fundamentalist view.

In your opinion are these churches wrong? Are their scholars not as knowledgeable as yours?

Methodists, Episcopalians, Some independent Baptist Churches, United Church of Christ, Universalist and the Metropolitan Community churches all have churches that open their doors and welcomes gay people into the full life and service of the church?

Do you know that Southern Baptist churches used to think that slavery was ordained by God..but, their scholars then took another look at the scriptures...(albeit after slavery ended)...

Should you not respect the views/beliefs and convictions of others?

When posted yesterday, several said that teaching to what a congregation wants to hear is wrong...
