usually it will help unless someone broke your heart

i think it does both, honestly.

love reveals hidden places that we don't know existed. love makes us step out in fear. so, yes it hurts very much. but at the same time we are hurting, we are healing. when we step out in fear, we are healing. when we allow our hearts to break to open, we are healing.

but then, it could end up hurting us because we have to take a risk and trust that everything will end up ok.

in ecclesiastes, it says there is a time and a place for everything. when the time is right to love, then we can heal from it. but if the time is not yet right and we are stepping out in a time that is not good, then we could end up devastatingly hurt.

i hope this helps.

There are different stages of love. The love you feel for your child is not the same you feel for your partner. It is not love that hurts - it is people's actions ( often done in the name of love, but it's not really love). Love can only heal.

Both to some degree. A loving gesture can heal a broken heart, but tough love can cause pain. However, love is love and in the end it will lead to good things.

It heals. If it hurts, then it's not really love.

True love as a giving and "agape" love heals. A possessive or attachment "philial" love hurts.

It heals. Get your mind on God, that's the best healer. It's true. Don't get mad at me for saying it. Some may hate to hear that, but I cannot tell a lie.

Depends what the situation is. If you stay friends after a breakup and still love that person, love will hurt more if he/she doesn't love you back anymore. If your loved one dies that you love, then it will hurt, if not, then it wont.

it all depends....
