I went and answered it, but honestly most Christians at least, feel you don't understand the concept of "belief" or worship. True or not, it's easier to not answer sometimes than go into a long drawn out recourse on theology. Your question also sounds a bit leading and asked more to make a point than to ellicit a serious response. Personally, I don't have a problem with a question like yours and have no problem commenting further if you wish.

Not always. Sometimes the asker is unreasonable in his request. For instance, one person asked how he can build his own house, all by himself.
I've built many. I've been a builder and contractor all my life. I didn't answer the question, because it would take hundreds of pages of typing just to get him started.
Sometimes I refuse to answer because the grammar and punctuation are so bad that I figure the questioner wouldn't understand the answer anyway.

I'll answer here. God didn't give us "proper" instructions on how live, Because he gave us Free will.
Now I know that everyone is going to say "free will, what kind of answer is that"
Free will is CHOICE. If he gave us instructions, we'd be in the same cateogory as a Robot, Correct? If we had a life and made no mistakes and everything was perfect, then whats the point of that Life? No lesson's to learn, No mistakes to make, and no forgiveness to learn...
He gave us life and let us go...and we can come to him whenever we need him.
Kind of like a parent...so when you think about God, Ask yourself why and what your parents would do in a perfect world...You'll get then

So you think that a taunt like this might generate more answers. I doubt if it will attract the answers that you wanted.
I believe that your original question is simply too complex to even attempt to answer it in a forum like this, and i would never try and convince anyone that my answer is correct. unless you know and agree with the basic philosophies that i support, it will be a waste to try and answer you.

" If most religions support the idea of a personal relationship with their chosen deities ...?
What is the point of having a belief structure? If your God/dess is as capable of communicating with you as he/she/it was with people in the past, then why can't your deity simply instruct you on how to properly worship and live your life?
This is, of course, intended for people who follow structured religion. "
How to live my life, eh? Every thought/action I have(you too--whether you choose to believe it or not) is self-centered and therefore evil. I have been born again. Now, when I do have a thought/action that IS NOT evil, it is not of me, but of God that has willed me through His spirit. I cannot "properly worship and live my life" without God working through me. Quite simple, yet so often overlooked. I am not in a performance-based relationship with God. He sees me as forever righteous, as if I had never sinned, because I trust in the blood of the sinless Lamb of God, Jesus.
word up.

It could mean they don't know the answer, but more likely, since people like to think they know everything, they are simply not interested in the question.

I think your other question was too high minded for people to stop and answer. They didn't want to put the effort into it. Most questions here that get the most answers are mindless questions. Keep asking though and someone will answer thoughtfully. :)
Good luck! :)

Do not give up hope if the answer to your request is slow in coming, for surely what you receive depends on the strength of your request.
