Satan was created as a holy angel. Isaiah 14:12 possibly gives Satan’s pre-fall name as Lucifer. Ezekiel 28:12-14 describes Satan as having been created a cherubim, and was apparently the highest created angel. He became arrogant in his beauty and status, and decided he wanted to sit on a throne above that of God (Isaiah 14:13-14; Ezekiel 28:15; 1 Timothy 3:6). Satan’s pride led to his fall. Notice the many “I will…” statements in Isaiah 14:12-15. Because of his sin, God threw Satan out of heaven.
Satan's power is only temporary. When Jesus comes back, he will deal with him.
Satan will be cast into the lake of fire (Revelation 20:7-10). Christ then judges all unbelievers (Revelation 20:10-15) at the Great White Throne Judgment, casting them all into the lake of fire. Christ will then usher in a New Heaven and New Earth and the New Jerusalem - the eternal dwelling place of believers. There will be no more sin, sorrow, or death (Revelation chapters 21-22).

The devil is a symbol of the malice and evil that are hidden in the hearts of people. It is not supposed to be seen as a literal figure that runs around the earth causing problems and buying souls. The people who wrote the Bible thousands of years ago wanted to create a metaphor for the duality of man, so they made angels and God to represent good, and the devil and demons to represent bad. It is impossible to destroy the devil because that would mean we would be destroying ourselves. Instead, I think we are supposed to address the evil within ourselves and work to better ourselves.

I'm sure the devil was good when he was first made but became rebellious later on. I don't believe God will destroy anyone he has made. We will always exist. I think he doesn't punish him further because God is using him to put us through difficult tests to make us perfect one day. God uses whatever he has to work with and puts it to good use. The devil is actually helping God with his plans whether he knows it or not. When we are tempted and we learn to resist temptation to do evil we become very strong, spiritually. God will deal with the devil someday and their will be no more evil on earth.

The devil was originally an angel of God, and he rose up against God, and as a result was cast out of heaven along with his followers (demons), and he will be destroyed once certain events have come to pass. The reason he hasn't already been destroyed is because his temptations are a test of faith in God & what God stands for.

Satan the Devil was created a good angel with free will. He made the choice to oppose god because he wanted worship for himself. And a full one third of all the angels in heaven followed him [ satan] and became the demons.
But that leaves a full two thirds of the rest of the angels who remained faithful to God , they also with free will, and it is they who are looking on to see what God will do.
To just destroy Satan would not prove that God is right. It would only prove that he is more powerful.
So it is a situation where God has to show that he deserves to be in his position...
God wants us to worship Him because we love Him, not because He wields a big stick.
God's first quality is love.
And he wants us to reject Satan.
And when we do properly, God will then use his awesome power to eliminate Satan forever.

Everyone is created by Mother nature. Mother nature is the power of God. It is not different from God. Its like air and its movement.
Its all a play of God within itself. Good and devil r part of it. Good has lesser dirt around it, whereas devil has thicker dirt. Inside its same in everyone. Practices of religions r there to washout this dirt.
Whoever wahes out this dirt merges with divine. Till that time Good and Evil seems to exist.

God created all living beings both spirit and human with free will. Lucifer chose to oppose God and thought that he could elevate himself above God. Because of this he is damned and that is his choice and the choice of other fallen angels who followed him. God will not destroy them because in the end none are destroyed, they simply burn forever. Why should God destroy His own creation. He creates, we determine what happens in the end. This is true of both spirit and human. You see, that way it is totally fair and unbiased, everyone gets to make thier own choice.

Lucifer is God's second son. Lucifer tried to take over God's position, so God cast him out, and he became Satan. God can destroy Satan, and eventually will, but Satan is a vital part of our lives. We need to be tested to see if we're worthy to live with God. Satan is our tester, he is the one who puts temptation in our path. It's what we do with those temptations that we'll be judged on.

Q1 & Q2: We did. Human imagination is very fertile.
Q3, Q4 & Q5: God can't rid us of something we created. If we stop pretending there is such a thing, the devil will disappear. There are no monsters in your closet.
