cop-out...what do you think?

Fundies say, people who do not hold every verse in the Bible to be literally true, are not Christians and can therefore not understand the Bible.... thereby, challenging people never to question the Bible...or your relationship with God will be called into question....

Isn't this an action of people weak in their faith?

Should a Christian only speak or write to other Christians of the same denomination? Can we not love each other for who they are? There are some here who seem to believe so. I do not. What is your opinion?

It's our inner sense of fairness and empathy that we use to accept or reject Jesus and God. It's the same with atheists, you know. Atheists can't get along with the lack of love, fairness, honor in Christianity. Jesus is a lot better than God, but he ought to separate himself from God for the "nappyhead" comment. Anyway, Christians, please realize that morality comes from within you, not from the Bible. Have a nice day!

this is a new generation , new people , new thoughts ..
a new day , a new dawn , a new era

I was sitting at my desk with a bottle of Aquafina and a bottle of Sprite.

As I was typing I picked up my bottle hoping to enjoy the bubbly goodness and realized that my Sprite was flat and tasted like crap.

I almost spat it over my keyboard.

Then I realized the Sprite bottle was still on my desk and the Aquafina was in my hand.

Is water really nasty and I have been tricking myself into thinking it is refreshing?

Or is Satan playing tricks on me?

Can you really argue that the bible makes more sense than this book? I think not. What did you make of it? If you don't agree with it, please explain which parts and why.

I also believe that Yehoshua (aka Jesus) was the Son of the Most High. The reason I do not do sacrifices now is because there is no Temple so it would be wrong. I believe that God is one and I believe in 'an eye for an eye' as far as government is concerned. In truth, I believe in the whole Law, the same Law that the Bible says is perfect. Would you consider me a Christian?

Where in the Bible does it say Christians should hate a person for their beliefs? Can one not seperate the deed from the doer or the belief from the believer?

A governor's pardon forgives a prisoner, but does not give him freedom to break one single law.
"For sin [breaking God's law--1 John 3:4] shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace. What then? shall we sin [break the law], because we are not under the law, but under grace? God forbid." Romans 6:14, 15. "Do we then make void the law through faith? God forbid: yea, we establish the law." Romans 3:31.

Grace is like the governor's pardon to a prisoner. It forgives him, but it does not give him freedom to break one single law on the statute books. The forgiven person, living under grace, is under double obligation to keep the law. A person who refuses to keep God's law, saying that he is living under grace, is mistaken. He is living under disgrace.

What do you think?

Ok 3 weeks ago my Grandpa was diagnosed with a serious infection in the Blood that no one could even get closer to him!

Our family was really sad, because my grandpa has always been there for us in hard times, as well as good times but,

This time he was taken to the closest hospital in Arizona, Chandler City, and the doctor said that he was going to die because his blood was all infected...

50% of my family is Christian and the other 50% don't, but we all gather as a family and we pray To GOD for my grandpa's healing. we all put our faith in the Lord!!

4 days after we prayed, the doctor said that suddenly my grandpa's blood was miraculously all Good, and they did not have to transfer fresh blood anymore to his body!

we thanked God because of the miracle! We all put our faith in the lord, Christians and no chrstians!!

now he’s at home and he wants to be a missionariy and he's getting ready for it!! He is 70 yo

Now I believe that God is Real, because he instantly answered Our Prayer!

John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
Luke 13:3 I tell you, No. But unless you repent, you will all likewise perish.
John 3:15 so that whosoever believes in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
Mat 7:13 Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:
Mat 7:14 Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.
Mat 7:15 Beware of false prophets

The Bible is very clear and I don't know how it could be any clearer.. Or do you think not??
There is black and white and not a large gray area like many so called Christians thing..

I'm curious if anyone out there actually believes in the whole myth about Noah's Ark and if so, how do deal with the fact that an entire species cannot come from just a single male and female? Do you just ignore that fact so you don't have to admit there might be some b.s. in the bible?
