I also believe that Yehoshua (aka Jesus) was the Son of the Most High. The reason I do not do sacrifices now is because there is no Temple so it would be wrong. I believe that God is one and I believe in 'an eye for an eye' as far as government is concerned. In truth, I believe in the whole Law, the same Law that the Bible says is perfect. Would you consider me a Christian?

A Christian is a follower of Christ, which means you would follow His teachings.

If you believe in 'eye for an eye', then you do not follow Christ's teachings.

Jesus replaced the "Old Covenant". The only Law that still stands is God's Eternal Law, the 10 Commandments.

When Jesus died, He died as the Ultimate Sacrifice. There is not longer a need to make sacrifices in the Temple, even if it still existed.

I think that's enough info for you to make an educated decision for yourself.

BTW: if God were not more than one, why did he refer to Himself in the plural form during creation?

The law is design to show that none is perfect and in need of a Saviour, (Jesus Christ). To try and be good enough or by keeping the laws of Moses will never make one righteous before God. Jesus gave His life to die so you could receive His life and be reborn anew in love and as though you had never sinned. You exchange your sinful life for His perfect, pure and full of joy and being reconciled to God the Father. If you have done this, then are you a follower of Christ and this is the only way one can make it to heaven.

I always ask "Why did Jesus die?" and "Who do you say that Jesus is?"

Polygamy is against the law of the land, and believers are instructed to obey those in authority. I'd probably consider you confused.

No a Christian understands that Christ is God in the flesh who atoned for sin and did fulfill the law and was resurrected overcoming sin and death. we are by faith new creatures no longer under the law but made new and in agreement with God's righteouness and his laws.

No, because Christ fulfilled the Law because we can't, as sinners. The law and sacrifices were used to cover sins before Christ paid for them once and for all. Now we have Christ's substitutionary death and resurrection that washed our sins away, provided you accept this gift of grace.

If you truely believe in Christ...that makes you a Chistian. Be careful though...there are some meanies running around who are going to say bad things about this.

If you accept Yehoshua as Messiah, then you are a Christian, albeit a non-traditional one.

Maybe a Mormon?

That's pretty close to what I believe myself.

EDIT: Minus the Temple part (sorry, I didn't see it), because I believe Temples do exist.

what makes you a Christian is if you have a relationship with God and you follow the Bible.

I would consider you a sixth century man living in a 21st century world.
