Where in the Bible does it say Christians should hate a person for their beliefs? Can one not seperate the deed from the doer or the belief from the believer?

43 You have heard that it hath been said, Thou shalt love thy neighbor, and hate thy enemy. 44 But I say to you, Love your enemies: do good to them that hate you: and pray for them that persecute and calumniate you:
33 And that he should be loved with the whole heart, and with the whole understanding, and with the whole soul, and with the whole strength; and to love one's neighbour as one's self, is a greater thing than all holocausts and sacrifices.

No, one cannot seperate the deed from the doer. If you could, what then becomes of accountability and personal responsibility?
Look at Revelations 21:8. Does that look like the doer of deeds has been separated from the deeds he or she does?
Is the person who sacrifices his or her life to save others no better than the rapist, or the murderer?
If we are not judged by our deeds, but simply by the fact we are human, what incentive is there to be a good human, rather than an evil one?
Debra, you are married. Have you not placed a greater value on your husband than the rest of us? If we are all the same, regardless of what we do, are you telling your husband you simply flipped a coin to decide whether you would marry him and not another? Could you have just as easily married a serial rapist as him?
Was it not what he did, and how that made you feel, that led you to choose him above all others? Will you share a bed with each of us, because the deed is irrelevant and we are all equally deserving of the love and trust you give your husband?
Should the child who runs with scissors be given equal access to scissors as the child who understands the danger and treats the responsibility seriously?

Anyone arrogant enough to reject the verdict of the judge or of the priest who represents the LORD your God must be put to death. Such evil must be purged from Israel. (Deuteronomy 17:12 NLT)
They entered into a covenant to seek the Lord, the God of their fathers, with all their heart and soul; and everyone who would not seek the Lord, the God of Israel, was to be put to death, whether small or great, whether man or woman. (2 Chronicles 15:12-13 NAB)
Suppose you hear in one of the towns the LORD your God is giving you that some worthless rabble among you have led their fellow citizens astray by encouraging them to worship foreign gods. In such cases, you must examine the facts carefully. If you find it is true and can prove that such a detestable act has occurred among you, you must attack that town and completely destroy all its inhabitants, as well as all the livestock. Then you must pile all the plunder in the middle of the street and burn it. Put the entire town to the torch as a burnt offering to the LORD your God. That town must remain a ruin forever; it may never be rebuilt. Keep none of the plunder that has been set apart for destruction. Then the LORD will turn from his fierce anger and be merciful to you. He will have compassion on you and make you a great nation, just as he solemnly promised your ancestors. "The LORD your God will be merciful only if you obey him and keep all the commands I am giving you today, doing what is pleasing to him." (Deuteronomy 13:13-19 NLT)

Well there's Luke 19:27 where Jesus says "But those mine enemies, which would not that I should reign over them, bring hither, and slay them before me."
Oh and we can't forget Mark 7:9-10 where he criticizes his followers for not obeying Old Testament laws and killing their disobedient children.
There are countless examples of hatred in the bible - read it straight through sometime.

I believe there's a part in the bible where Jesus became filled with hate and experienced an outburst where he trashed the place he was at. If I recall correctly, he was at church and it had to do with the church making money when they should have been helping others instead.

Jesus did not ever allow hate, he did clearly state to tell them of Him three times,if they still deny Him," shake the dust off your feet, and walk away " "do not consort with mediums
astrologers or any one who practices any form of divination"

He's pretty hard on the strong and the rich...not actively, but he promises they will get the short end of the stick later. That just sounds like vengeful jealousy...chip off the old block.

It doesnt say hate another. The Jesus said "Love one another as I have loved you"
If anyone truly hates another they are not following the word of God. Dont juge all people by some you have met

You're absolutely right. Christians should not hate Muslims, Jews, atheists, gays, lesbians, etc., etc., if they truly want to follow the example of Jesus.

Jesus asked us to love one another. ALL of us can do better job with that.
However, His Word is the same for everyone.

you are not supposed to hate anyone. Hate is the equivalent to murder (in your heart vs physical).
Christ met people where they were. Thats what we are supposed to do. We are supposed to love the sinner but not the sin. A lot of people don't get this.
