In a previous question where I asked about the spelling of "magic" with a "k", a poster claimed that there were "pagans" and there were "Pagans" and that not all non-Christians (Buddhists for instance) are not a part of this movement called "Pagan" with a capital "p". So, do please tell me which religions are in this movement (which I've never heard of until now) and which aren't.
Also, just who is it that determines which religions are considered "Pagan" and which are considered to be just "pagan"? Who decides which religions get that honor? Or, is this just more New Age bunko made up to sound "kool"?

I'd like to hear from saved Christian's who agree and disagree on this issue. Please comment, and explain why you feel Christians can or can not practice these movements based on "scripture", and not opinion?

I understand why the chants and beliefs from Eastern religions should not be embraced and incorporated with the movements, but if one uses scripture and the Bible as foundation, is this still inappropriate for a Christian?

What other exercises can be used instead of Yoga to promote relaxation, deep stretching, and similar physical/mental benefits if yoga is not for chiristians?

Since the Lord made our bodies to stretch, and our lungs to breathe deeply which causes relaxation, I'm sure there must be some way we can obtain the benefits of both through movement.

My little brother is having all these christian videos for kids pushed on him and I'd like for him to see other sides and keep an open mind until he's at least at an appropriate age to decide for himself.

Is that not discrimination? If they let their own children date other races/religions, they just might learn something, like how to make peace in the middle east!

We are all familiar with the Jewish scripture since the larger part of it is incorporated into the Bible. We all know that Wiccans believe in magic spells, etc. Pagans presumably believe in spells, ancestor worship, racial genius, etc. None of that is very PC and it's certainly loaded with superstition. Ever wonder why they have nothing to say about all that? Opinions anyone? Be serious.

I just saw someone claim that there must be something to Christianity, because so many Christians have been willing to die for their beliefs.

Doesn't that apply to ALL religions?? I hardly need to point out that Witches and Muslims and Jews have died at least as much as Christians (percentagewise) and maybe more. I also know a fair few atheists who wouldn't convert to something they didn't believe in, even if it was to save their life.

Why do so many Christians think they are special for doing what members of EVERY religion do?

I gather the Hebrew Herrenvolk are deemed to be above criticism as usual. But seriously, this makes no sense. Jews, supposedly too dumb to recognize their own beliefs are being attacked when the "Old Testament" is held up to ridicule, atheists too dumb to know that this is Jewish scripture? We're supposed to buy this kind of PC acting-out? It sounds to me like Jews are (as always) consumed with hatred for Christians and more than willing to see atheists bash their own scripture as long as the attack is officially directed at Christians,in other words, the two join together on an antiChristian crusade? How merry! Opinions, fellow Christians? It all looks rather suspect to me.

If you do believe that he could create something as small as an atomic particle and as vast as the solar systems, and if you can believe he created the sophisticated systems of life, then do you believe a God of that intelligence could figure a way to use men to write a book perfectly about him and his desires and keep that book preserved perfect through the ages?

I believe in a God that powerful and wonderful. His name is Jesus.
