We are all familiar with the Jewish scripture since the larger part of it is incorporated into the Bible. We all know that Wiccans believe in magic spells, etc. Pagans presumably believe in spells, ancestor worship, racial genius, etc. None of that is very PC and it's certainly loaded with superstition. Ever wonder why they have nothing to say about all that? Opinions anyone? Be serious.

Try poking around in the questions on Paganism. In between all the advice that what we really need to do is read the Bible, you'll see the occasional atheist telling us that what we believe is just plain silly. ::shrugs:: Might not be as common as what Christians see, but we don't rile the atheists up as much, apparently.

Now, while I can see how it's easy to dismiss the beliefs of another religion as superstition, what exactly is so non-PC about my beliefs? Honoring one's ancestors is suddenly a bad thing? I guess we'd better tell the geneaology experts to lay off, then....

Proof is the realm of mathematics. It's not for real-world application. There's no proof that the Earth orbits the Sun, but all the available evidence supports it. There's no proof that other people are human beings, but all the available evidence supports it. The fact of evolution is an observed natural phenomenon. The theory of evolution is a collection of experimental evidence and data that are all mutually supportive. Sure, the wording is sometimes indirect, or makes a lot of use of the conditional clause. However, that's only because it's foolish to go assuming something. The most likely explanation may not be the correct one. If more research is needed, that's just being honest. Please prove/demonstrate/provide evidence for God.

Atheists find all religions with a deity to be superstitions.

Post about Christians will be a bit more common in Y/A for two reasons - there are a lot of Christians who post here and Christians are the main group here that attempts to proselytize others.

Have you seen a Jewish, Wiccan or Pagan post telling Atheist how stupid or evil they are and that they will burn in hell?

Because those groups don't seem to feel they have the right to have their superstitions passed into law or sneaked into school/work/public policy.

Your right to believe what you wish (which I support wholeheartedly) ends when it interferes with my right to do the same. Simple as that.

My opinion is that neither, Jews, Wiccan's or Pagans proselytize their religious beliefs. So they only attack the one that tries to push their beliefs onto others.

There's no need to feel singled out. All the hocus pocus wiccan crap is garbage too. We have no problem admitting that.

well when was the last time you saw a Jew, pagan, or wiccan say that an Atheist is damned to hell for not beliving in my religion?

Because Christians happen to be very vocal about their self righteousness, and so we feel the need to counter this inflated sense of self entitlement.

Christianity isn't singled out, its just that there are more christians and they tend to complain louder.

All religions are, in my opinion, a pile of crap.

See?
