Continue to diligently pray for him. Only The Holy Spirit is able to open his eyes to the Truth of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. It is The Holy Spirit who removes the spiritual blindness from our eyes, so we are open to see our need for Jesus. We can not do this for others. What we can do is to talk to The Holy Spirit asking Him to reveal to the person, his or her need for Jesus. The Holy Spirit will be softening the heart of the individual.
Realize that we do not wrestle against flesh and blood {human beings) but against principalities and powers and rulers of the darkness of this world. For the weapons {The Armor of God) of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God, for the pulling down of strongholds.
Put on the full armor of God, and continually walk in the Fruits of The Holy
Spirit toward this person. Always forgiving him, and believing the best for him in life, as God always does for him. God needs us.
We are to be His voice here on earth.
We are Jesus Christ's ambassadors to the world. But if people in the world will not listen, we must pray. This is an important part of Walking with The Full Armor of God on daily. The person will come around, for God always watches over His Word to perform it. Simply continue to pray for the person, trusting the Lord Jesus, and remain very patient for the results to be manifested in this physical realm. The Holy Spirit will be faithful to do His part. We, as believers in Jesus Christ, of course do not speak words of condemnation to others, for we are not to allow any unwholesome words come out of our mouth. We continue to love them, encourage them, and pray{trusting God) for them. The strong-willed, stubborn unsaved individuals are to be put in God's Hands by us through prayer. He is always faithful to deal with them with compassion, patience and love.
Many present-day Christians were very stubborn, resisting God and His Holy Word,
but because people daily continued to wait upon God in prayer, trusting The Holy Spirit,
today these people are saved, experiencing peace and happiness in life now and have the guarentee of eternal life through Jesus Christ. I was one of the stubborn. And a faithful woman in Christ, never stopped praying for me. The Holy Spirit softened my heart, and I willfully came to Jesus;
but I came to Him not out of fear, but in a loving response to His love toward me. Encourage you to keep pressing on in prayer for this person and The Holy Spirit will do the rest. Your doing great.
Thank You for taking the time to read this.
I will be praying for your friend also.
Love in Christ Jesus.

Honestly, if someone despises the Bible in every way, I would witness to him through my actions. Don't try to get in an academic debate with him, because that never works. Only the Spirit can soften a heart, so keep loving him, being overtly Christian, and answer any questions he may have about God.

I would first understand myself first, many times We believes
use arguing with non-believers on the sake of making our faith stronger. Many times, are aim is not to make the person believe-, but to flex our faith muscles. This approach leads to anger and us losing the path. Before we do anything, we should reach deep inside to see what are real motivations are.
Once we do this, we will be able to have true peace when it comes to being around others who do not share our religious beliefs. You won't argue as much, and will not feel agitated. And from my own experience, you will be more sincere to really making someones life better as opposed to getting a ego buzz, or proving yourself right by bashing someone in an argument. When you learn you real motivations in the darkness of your heart, you are able to really, sincerely care for others, and you motivations will go from pride to real love and concern.

I would tell him the truth. It is up to that person to accept or reject the truth. If it was someone who continuously was down on My God or the Bible I would have nothing to do with him.

You call them Christians. A Christian is person who somewhat believes on Christ as Savior. A Christian isn't somebody who professes Christ, yet fairly somebody who POSSESSES Christ as Lord and Savior.

If I were a Christian, and not bound by reality, I'd use my Vulcan Mind Meld on him and convert him into a God-botherer.
As it is, I'd try to make friends on the basis of our mutual understanding.

Pray for him and use your life and walk with Christ as an example. People notice actions alot more than words.

whatever you do, don't push him to believe what you believe. that will just make him not like it at all. i think the best thing you can do it bring it up in a casual conversation ("hey this week at church i...") or just pray for him.

I would simply show him by the way you live for God every day, that there is something to this Christianity thing after all.

I would let him be because after all ,,,,, you might believe in something that has never in a million years been proven!
he is just as good as you are! religion is not the FOREFRONT of life! PEOPLE ARE!
